New Campaign Theme Emerges; Trump Leading America Back to Normal
As the president increasingly goes on the offensive to respond to the Covid-19 crisis, a new campaign theme suddenly has emerged: “Trump: Leading America Back to Normal.”
In the last 10 days, President Trump has:
- Gone on the record that he opposes any country-wide mandate on Americans to wear face coverings.
- Directed Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to instruct all school districts across the nation to resume in-person education for kindergarten to 12th grade students this fall.
- Moved aggressively to protect federal property from rioting and physical attack.
- Signaled that he will oppose new efforts in Congress to increase spending for coronavirus testing and tracing, presumably because it is a waste of money as the growing number of Covid-19 “cases” simply creates fear.

By labeling many private sector workers as “non-essential” during the COVID-19 crisis, government again needlessly insults regular Americans.
Affixing the word “non-essential” to a human being is anti-life elitism. The message: “We’re from the government and know better than you. We enlightened ones understand, but you the great unwashed do not.”
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s order Wednesday that all state residents wear a mask on their faces during COVID-19 is capricious and anti-American.
The federal government’s $2 trillion Coronavirus emergency plan fails to get money fast enough and in large enough amounts into the hands of Americans.
Putting rescue funds in the hands of Americans as quickly as possible – that’s what’s truly needed to offset the Coronavirus quarantining and social distancing. This health care response threatens to ruin the American economy, necessitating a much smarter solution than what Washington produced last week.
In response to the Coronavirus health care crisis, New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo produced an Executive Order containing exceptions that one could “drive a truck through.”
And that was the good news from Cuomo’s executive order that went into effect Sunday night March 22 in New York State.

The Bottom Line: “You can’t destroy the country to try and save it.” And that’s what we are doing by closing businesses and requiring “social distancing.” This strategy of retreat is unprecedented, and troubling.
I’m pretty sure that I am going to be correct about the Coronavirus: This hysteria is more dangerous than the disease.
Sure, Coronavirus or COVID-19 as it is also called, is disturbing and scary. But when you consider how many people are likely to die, and who is likely to die, compared to the statistics in mortality for so many other conditions and diseases, this is mass craziness in terms of fear.
The Democratic Party’s toxic Leftist policies have their fingerprints all over the ugly specter of black people hating on Jews in the New York City area over the last month.
That’s the unfortunate answer to the question as to why blacks have been shooting, attacking, punching, and slashing Jews in at least 11 incidents in recent weeks in New York State and New Jersey. Two orthodox Jews have been killed with a third in critical condition as of this writing.
Dear Jewish Trump Haters: It’s not 1933 and these times more resemble 1859 or 1959.
We are not on the verge of a second Nazi Germany in the United States; the real risk is a second Civil War unless everybody calms down and stops demonizing the other side. And we have the booming economy of 1959, too.
