'Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen'! Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn't know but one thing he does know is that the word 'Riding' (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a 'g' at the end. But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin' country folk. Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren. Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to "aggravate" most anyone around them basically...all in good fun, of course!

Honestly, I can’t believe how quick it clicks by. I’ve always heard that’s just a symptom of aging, but at this point, I’m still not so sure! I’ve also heard my last statement is probably denial! LOL!

Good morning to you guys! Welcome back to Miz Judi’s Kitchen this morning. We hope all are well, and off to a fast start to a great week ahead! Thanks for droppin by! Well, we had a couple days of rain, which were Saturday and Sunday. Probably not over ½ to ¾ of an inch, but it was much needed. During this time of year, for us, we normally only see some when a cool front passes through.

From Our Friend, Sandra

Well, top of the morning to ya’ll! We hope everyone is doing just great, and thanks again for stopping back in to visit. Deb and I have a very dear friend who lives in Mississippi. Shoot, I call her Mississippi bout half the time. Anyway, after I put up on the site that Deb had been diagnosed with cancer, the response of concern and prayers was almost overwhelming to us. You guys showed us so much love and affection that we couldn’t believe that two people could be so blessed. You all were literally “heaven sent.” Thank you all so very much!

The Grow Space is Completed

Hey guys, how are you today? Thanks for stopping back by to visit with us again. First off, Deb had another blood test this past Wed. Ya wanna guess the results?? PERFECT, once again! I sure have me a wonderful gal, huh? That little woman has stayed positive throughout this whole ordeal and I’ll say it once again, she is so inspiring to be around, and in the toughness department, I’m running a far distant second place! God is smiling on her! We’re ecstatic over this latest news! April 1st will be our one year anniversary of finding out Deb has this mess.

Two Beds in the Greenhouse Doing Well…if you like weeds

Well… “top of the morning to ya!” We hope all is well in regards to you guys! Deb, Cheyenne, and I are doing just fine. The weather is absolutely beautiful, and we had an inch of rain a couple nights back. Good night it had been dry, dry, dry! I’m thankful for every drop, but this year rain is in short supply. But this is our dry season. We normally don’t have any and just catch them out ahead of a front.

Are We Simply Saying Goodbye To Our Country?

Hey guys, how are ya again? I just received this through an e-mail, and I just had to put it up. The friend that sent this to me this morning isn’t just a friend, he’s become a part of our family. Deb and I both love him, because he’s a great guy, a very loving man, and a hard, hard worker. He was born in India, but a part of which became the property of Pakistan when they won their independence, I believe is a correct statement. His family lost everything they owned, moved to India proper, and started over again.

You Just Gotta Laugh Some

Hello! How are you guys today? We sure hope all’s well, and everyone is doing just fine! Deb and I are both feelin great, and looking forward to each day that comes our way! Life is good, isn’t it? You betcha! You know, in life you have good days and then scattered throughout life you have days that sometimes just aren’t so good. One thing Deb and I have learned through the years is that most times…life is what you make it.
