Moral Equivalency: Does it Apply to the Situation Between Israel and Hamas?

First off, let's define what moral equivalency is: it is a term used to usually deny that a moral comparison can be made of two sides in a dispute (in this case a war).

When is Prosecution Really Persecution?

First off, let's define the terms, Prosecute means to pursue, carry out, or bring a lawsuit against a person or group—Persecute means to subject a person or group to persistent ill treatment. Which of those terms do you think applies to Donald Trump and his legal problems today? Can you imagine spending 6 years trying to emasculate a political opponent because you don't like him or his politics by using and perverting the tenets of the law against him?

The catchword in liberal circles today is the term “diversity”. A few years ago the catchphrases were: affirmative action, racial preferences, and racial and ethnic quotas. Since those terms were not warmly embraced by many in the general public, the “diversity” proponents have latched onto the term “diversity” as a more moderate acceptable term to overcome the negatives that those other terms conveyed.
