We can talk about Obama’s sinking presidency or our country’s plunging morality or maybe Hillary Clinton’s latest scandals. But the other gorilla in the closet, the ugly witch slowly knocking at the door, the hideous monster following you while you’re walking home at night…is our nation’s economy.

Thanks to liberals we now live in a Bizarro world, like that created by DC Comics. Everything appears backwards, upside down, inside out. Laws of economics are canceled. Climate is now created by mankind, not natural processes. Nature no longer abhors a vacuum, but welcomes it. The Constitution is holding us back. People decide their gender. Criminals are victims of an unjust society. Human institutions, tried and proven after countless millennia declared no longer valid.

If you are listening to many financial experts, preachers and culture watchers, September and October promise to be from hell. Wall Street watchers hint at bigger trouble down the road. Many financial experts predict economic collapse and war. Bible prophesy sentinels say Elul 29 (September 13, 2015) is the end of a seven year cycle (Shemitah), a time when most major financial corrections take place.

Loud and Clear Politics For a Change

The candidacy of Donald Trump is about much more than The Donald. It is about anger, frustration, dissatisfaction and resentment. It is about the growing anger that nothing gets done, frustration over a deaf and obese Federal Government, dissatisfaction when they do try to accomplish something and resentment when they don’t care when they are found incompetent. It is about a government that asserts that it knows best when it doesn’t. It is about insisting everything is on track when we know that it is off track.

The ‘Untouchables’

In Doctor Zhivago, a glaring account of the Russian Revolution, the movie depicted the reality of ‘social justice’ as a communist or socialist would see it. The loud knock on the door from the ‘worker’s army’ forcing the allocation of six more families to live in your house because the government decided you have too much as it is. Your seventeen-room home is now reduced to three rooms on the second floor with a shared bathroom, of course. Social Justice?

Why Social Issues

Almost no one wants to talk social issues. The Tea Party, for all their good work, doesn’t want to bring up social issues. The political establishment avoids the conversation as they would a leper colony. Talk social issues in the GOP and you will get a call from Reince Priebus. Ask Donald Trump. People live in fear of being called racist, bigoted, homophobic, or just being perceived as mean.

New England Witch Hunts Revisited

It seems we have entered a new version of the 17th century witch hunts in New England. The country now finds it acceptable to persecute people for their beliefs, religion and political persuasion as well as looking in every corner for something that offends. In a country gone mad, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are racist. Gender restrictions in bathrooms are sexist. Santa Claus saying "ho, ho, ho" is offensive to prostitutes. 'Manhole' is now 'maintenance hole.' In Seattle, Easter eggs are now 'spring spheres' in order to not offend anyone who doesn't celebrate Easter. A student at Sonoma State University was told to take off her cross because someone could be offended (I didn't know vampires were admitted to the State University system). Profiling in airport security areas is racist, so every grandma and grandpa is almost strip searched. The Obama administration has banned all government agencies' training materials from linking Islam with terrorism. An entire high school track team was disqualified because one of the students made a gesture thanking God after crossing the finish line.
