Nancy, the yapping is not helping

Nancy, the yapping is not helping Nancy Pelosi is the latest yapper about the potential meeting with North Korean dictator, Kim Jung Un. She jumped right out declared President Trump’s decision to not hold the face to face meeting a win for the North Korean dictator. Now, the possibility of a meeting is still developing.

That’s about enough of Maxine Waters’s race-baiting nonsense

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters Whenever black Democrats do not have a factual or credible argument to claim racism, they just go ahead and claim it anyway. This happened recently on the floor of the House of Representatives, during an exchange between U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pennsylvania), and U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-California).

Welcome to the club, Candace Owens

Welcome to the club, Candace Owens This is what it’s like to be an ABC – an American Black Conservative. I’m sure I don’t need to tell Candace Owens that, since she holds her own just fine. But it’s important at times for us to stick up for each other, and to let each other know that none of us deal with this garbage alone.

We’re outnumbered in the media, but here’s how we can overcome it

We’re outnumbered in the media, but here’s how we can overcome it The results this administration is getting should be an asset for our side, but the rhetoric of the liberals suggests none of this has even happened. The liberal voices outnumber us because the mainstream media are infested with anti-Trump voices who will sing the same tune no matter what the president and his supporters in Congress do.

Democrat nonsense on the Syria attack is even more absurd than normal

Democrat nonsense on the Syria attack is even more absurd than normal No action against Syria for its chemical attack on its own people was not an option. The president and his advisors made that very clear. But no matter what decision was made the Democrats would not agree. That’s just what they do, to the point of being in denial and even deceiving their voters with false and fabricated information.

Latest completely insane things Nancy Pelosi and other liberals are saying about Trump’s job performance

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is still saying the Trump tax cuts only benefit the rich. That’s a lie. She also says that the middle class ends up with a tax increase. That’s another lie. Then Representative Ted Lieu (D-California) says the Trump tax cuts will lead to cuts in Social Security and Medicare. That’s another big fat lie! Watch for yourself right here.

Keep fighting for positive results

I recall from my studies of mathematics that the sum of all positive numbers and all negative numbers is zero. I suddenly realized that this is the quest of politics in hopes of tipping the balance more toward negative than positive!

Dick's Sporting Goods realizes: Taking sides in politics is going to hurt business

Dick's Sporting Goods realizes: Taking sides in politics is going to hurt business I can't think of a single time when it's benefited a company to abandon sound business principles in favor of political posturing. Is certainly didn't help Target. It hasn't helped Starbucks. And it didn't take long for Dick's Sporting Goods to realize it's decision to pander to the gun grabbers would exact a serious price:
Dick's Sporting Goods reported disappointing holiday sales numbers in part due to weak demand for one-time hot brands like Under Armour.

Trump's proposed tariffs are the retaliation

Trump's proposed tariffs are the retaliation One of the hysterical objections from those who oppose President Trump's proposed tariffs on imported steel and aluminum is that he is going to start a trade war, because other countries will retaliate with tariffs of their own.

U.S. consumer confidence highest in 14 years

U.S. consumer confidence highest in 14 years The importance of consumer confidence to economic growth cannot be overstated. When people feel good about the economy, they confidently spend and invest their money. Sometimes you get false consumer confidence that spurs people to spend for a period of time, but when it's not based on something fundamentally sound, it doesn't last for long.

'Crumbs' keep coming, and Democrats keep lying

'Crumbs' keep coming, and Democrats keep lying One of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas is Lakeside, on the lower level of the Wynn Hotel. Everything on the menu is great! Fresh fish, other seafood, beef and salads, you name it! I've tried them all!

What if Trump is proving a 'not normal' president is not a problem after all?

What if Trump is proving a 'not normal' president is not a problem after all? I know it seems like a long time ago, but in the run-up to the 2016 election, the predictions of catastrophe in the event of a Donald Trump win were quite something.
  • He would touch off a nuclear war, we were told, with some intemperate remark on Twitter.
  • He would destroy the vaunted public institutions of America with behavior decidedly un-presidential.
  • He would diminish the office by getting into flame wars with people like Rosie O'Donnell and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
  • He would empower Nazis, fanatics and haters to run rampant in the streets.
  • He would be an authoritarian strongman who would shred the Constitution and trample on everyone's rights.

Quit dreaming of a better yesterday

Quit dreaming of a better yesterday Last Sunday I was one of seven American Black Conservatives (ABCs) who received the African American Trailblazers award for some of the unique achievements I have been blessed to accomplish during my life. John Sibley Butler was one of the other recipients who reminded us that it is good to observe our black history, but we must "quit dreaming of a better yesterday."

The two-year budget deal: A spending explosion with a mess of tax favors mixed in

The two-year budget deal: A spending explosion with a mess of tax favors mixed in Although we've already told you there is a silver lining or two, the fact remains that the two-year budget deal negotiated by Republican and Democrat leaders in Congress is exactly the opposite of what the country needs right now. It's true that it will more adequately fund the military, and that's important. But in order to get there, Republicans basically allowed the Democrats to remove all restraints on federal spending, while messing up the revenue stream by extending 35 tax breaks that were supposed to expire.
