Lisa Martin is considered a miracle patient. The Georgia mother-of-four was admitted to the hospital in September with COVID-related complications. Her condition deteriorated and the hospital told her family to say goodbye. Against the odds, Martin walked out of the hospital and went home on her way to recovery in December.
In a Facebook post from Memorial Satilla Health, the hospital shared part of Martin’s story with a video of her walking to a waiting car while hospital staff stood to cheer her on. In a time when people want to hear good news, Martin’s story of recovery is a beacon of hope.
Facebook's former chief security officer, Alex Stamos, told CNN's Brian Stelter on Sunday that something must be done to stop conservative speech from reaching tens of millions of Americans.

Footage obtained by the Gateway Pundit from militant Black Lives Matter and Antifa activist John Sullivan’s Discord server shows the so-called “civil rights activist” revelling inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan.6 as he damaged federal property.
Sullivan has maintained in multiple interviews that he regularly attends protests only to record what’s going on, but did not actively partake in the insurgence in Washington.

On January 4, Democrat members of the House of Representatives, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), adopted new rules that include a requirement for gender-neutral language in the House Rules, including the elimination of gendered pronouns and references to “father,” “son,” “mother” or “daughter.” The vote was strictly along party lines, 217-206.
The new “non-gendered language” rules were highlighted by critics online Wednesday when Pelosi used gendered language as she spoke about the prospective second impeachment of President Trump: “I stand before you as a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter. A daughter whose father proudly served in this Congress.”
On Wednesday night President Donald Trump released a video statement denouncing political violence, including at events reportedly being planned to take place in Washington D.C. and across the country in the coming days. Trump’s remarks came about an hour after the House of Representatives voted to impeach him on a charge of inciting an insurrection among demonstrators at the Capitol last week.
Trump said, “Mob violence goes against everything I believe in, and everything our movement stands for. No true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence. No true supporter of mine could ever disrespect law enforcement or our great American flag. No true supporter of mine could ever threaten or harass their fellow Americans. If you do any of these things, you are not supporting our movement; you’re attacking it, and you’re attacking our country. We cannot tolerate it.”
Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz didn’t hold back and put up a very large, figurative mirror in front of the Democrats in the House on Wednesday and made it clear that while the riot at the Capitol was wrong, the Democrats were literally cheering on months of destruction and violence during the Black Lives Matter riots.
And the Democrats really didn’t like hearing about it.
