The Caliph of America

For the past six years there has been a debate among conservatives around the competency of Barack Obama. One side claims he’s evil; another holds the opinion that he’s terminally incompetent. For a long time, I waffled between the former and the latter, at one point even thinking that both propositions were correct.

Related: Imam Obama comes out at the National Prayer Breakfast However, given the ever more bizarre attempts he and his spokespeople are making to dissociate Islam from terrorism, ISIS, al Qaeda, Boko Haram, the Muslim Brotherhood and all the flotsam and jetsam railing for ‘death to America,’ I’m starting to believe that the “President” is not so secretly rooting for the other side. If the President of the United States were really committed to stopping the advance of radical Islamist nut jobs, one would think that he would be a lot more proactive in his efforts. One would think that as the leader of the world’s only Superpower he would seek alliances with friendly nations that share our interests and values. It would certainly help if the problems were actually defined, rather than relegated to etymological calisthenics like ‘man caused disasters’ or ‘workplace violence’ or claiming that groups like the “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria,” weren’t actually Islamic. Conservatives have been criticized for years because many of us have somehow classified the President as “other” or “alien.” But then, how should one classify a person whose acts are totally at odds with the well-being of American democracy and its allies? At some point one simply has to accept the fact that actions speak a whole lot louder than words.

Back during the Presidential campaign of 2008 I wrote (here) that I suspected Barack Obama of being a “Manchurian candidate,” that the motivation behind his seeking the Presidency was questionable and sadly the so-called mainstream media wasn’t asking any questions. In part, I wrote:

“But it appears that no amount of subterfuge and skullduggery with which Barack Obama is associated, is enough to raise any questions about his suitability to hold the highest office in the land. Call me paranoid, but suppose there is a vast left-wing conspiracy to take over the United States, there wouldn’t be a better time to do it than now and it seems that there’s no better candidate to do it than Barack Obama.”

I’m beginning to think that I am incredibly prescient, as it appears the President is aiding and abetting our enemies and selling America and our allies down the river. I’d say the man’s actions (or lack thereof) clearly meet the definition of “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” as stated in the Constitution. Yet no one is interested in even broaching the subject of impeachment, much less initiating such an action. Because Obama is our first black president, the soft racism of low expectations is keeping him in the White House, as is the idea that if he were to be impeached it would be solely because he’s black. As such, the man is rapidly destroying the world order that every president since Harry Truman has worked tirelessly to establish. What other conclusion could one draw, than this destruction is deliberate and by design? That what he’s really doing is tipping the scales in favor of America’s enemies and degrading America’s ability to prevail as set forth in our founding documents. There are many conclusions that can be drawn from Obama’s not-so-tacit support of Islamic terrorists. But the one that seems to make most sense is that he is anxious for the New Caliphate to succeed, with him as the Caliph of America.
