They often say that when the sun shines people spend their cash. And for one Surrey artist this certainly seems to be the case. Susie Lidstone from Farnham reports that she has sold yet another painting at Windmill Flowers in London. “This is proving to be a great outlet for me,” says Susie, who was introduced to it by Creative Coverage over 18 months ago. “I sold cushions and cards at the Creative Coverage Exhibition at Houghton Lodge and Gardens in Stockbridge, Hampshire when I was painting there on one of my Artist in Residence days.” She adds: “Southfield Stationers are having me as one of their artists so my work will be available on a range of formats giving me a commission on each item sold (notebooks, coasters etc.) via their agents. Dandy Art House is also producing a fuller range of my designs. And a well known company will be producing my designs on homewares in July.” www.susielidstone.com
