DeRay Mckesson: Fall 2016 fellow at the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics

Another academic sinecure for DeRay the Destroyer

A George Soros-backed Black Lives Matter leader with delusions of eloquence has been given his second prestigious academic posting in two years because he’s good at starting race riots. It’s proof that crime pays. Embrace the pathologies of the Left and you will be showered with high praise and honors. The agitator at hand is DeRay Mckesson, who should be in prison along with his fellow BLM terrorists. He will be a Fall 2016 fellow at the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics. This is another reminder of why you shouldn’t give your hard-earned money to America’s universities.
Here’s the biographical blurb from the U. of Chicago website that details Mckesson’s meteoric rise from obscurity to Alinskyite role model:
DeRay Mckesson is a prominent activist within the Black Lives Matter movement and a leading voice against police violence. Known for his social media prowess, Mckesson has been in the public eye since the August 2014 protests in Ferguson when he began speaking out against excessive use of force by police and advocating for reform. Since then, he has grown his Twitter following to more than 500,000 and in 2015 he co-founded Campaign Zero, a comprehensive platform to end police violence. Recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the World’s Greatest Leaders in 2015, Mckesson previously worked as a top human resources administrator in the public schools in Baltimore and Minneapolis. A Baltimore native, Mckesson graduated from Bowdoin College in 2007.
Unmentioned is Mckesson’s advocacy of street violence to advance his evil cause. That’s what he did just last year when he was handed a teaching fellowship at Yale. Mckesson used his perch to argue that looting is a fine way to advance the racist Black Lives Matter movement.

Say what you will about the Left but they take care of their own

“Looting for me isn’t violent, it’s an expression of anger,” he told his students at Yale. “The act of looting is political. Another way to dissolve consent. Pressing you to no longer keep me out of this space, by destroying it.” How Mckesson ever got through college is a mystery. Mckesson represents the triumph of self-esteem over reality. He fancies himself a poet and an intellectual. He enjoys imitating the vapid prose of Ta-Nehisi Coates, himself a talentless creation of a corrupt media-academic complex. Say what you will about the Left but they take care of their own.
