Are You Afraid of Your Government?

"When the people are afraid of the government, that's tyranny. But when the government is afraid of the people, that's liberty." ~ Thomas Jefferson

Are you afraid that you could say something, write something, or publish something and you might have to face negative consequences from your government? Sadly, if you have answered yes to this question, you have acknowledged that the free world you grew up in has collapsed and there is no such thing anymore. If you are a citizen of the United States of America, you have just acknowledged that your rights under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution are no longer valid.

Government goon squads are raiding Catholic homes because some federal bureaucrat declared them “extremists”

"Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech." ~ Benjamin Franklin

"The very definition of tyranny is when all powers are gathered under one place." ~ James Madison

"If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools." ~ Plato

"The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom… I must inform the citizens of this plight." ~ John F. Kennedy

Are your fears valid? In 2024, of course, they are valid. Look at what is happening in Canada with Bill C-63 that could very well make nearly any speech that offends someone a “go to jail” offense. In the United States, government goon squads are raiding Catholic homes because some federal bureaucrat declared them “extremists.” In Canada, where churches are still not fully functioning, simply being a religious person, in and of itself, is almost deemed criminal. Then also look at the half century attempt to gut the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution.

For tyrants to succeed, they must first destroy these moral values

There are two things that have, so far, kept the tyrannical government in fear and at bay. The first is the strong Judeo-Christian values system and the guidance provided by those who conform to the standards of the Ten Commandments. For these tyrants to succeed, they must first destroy these moral values. The second is the fact that there are 100 million armed citizens in America that represents the largest armed force on the planet. Like all successful tyrannical governments, they must deny citizens the right to be armed before they can close the deal on total control of the American population.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." ~John Adams

"It is impossible to govern the world without God." ~ George Washington

"Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants." ~ Benjamin Franklin

"Disarm the people- that is the best and most effective way to enslave them." ~ James Madison

"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself." ~ George Washington

"Americans need not fear the federal government because they enjoy the advantage of being armed, which you possess over the people of almost every other nation." ~ James Madison

If we allow ourselves to be paralyzed by our fears, we doom ourselves

If we allow ourselves to be paralyzed by our fears, we doom ourselves to and deserve whatever our corrupt tyrannical government inflicts on us. The current United States government has punished the average family with about a $13,000 a year cost increase to maintain the same standard of living they had in 2020. I don’t know about you, but my family’s income didn’t increase $13,000 since 2020. That is stolen money to support the illegal aliens the federal government is importing and allow more and more crime and death on our streets. Does that seem reasonable to you?

“The only thing necessary for EVIL to triumph is for GOOD PEOPLE to do nothing.”

"A revolution is coming – a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough – but a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character; we cannot alter its inevitability." ~ John F. Kennedy

Steve Rossiter——

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
