Let me get this straight, Corrections Canada is releasing a repeat offender and pedophile that they officially deem to be at a high risk to reoffend?

It seems that the case of 30-year-old scumbag predator, Junior Spencer has been getting a lot of press for the government’s decision to place this waste of life into a half way house--smack dab in an area which is the home to four elementary schools and a residential area that is full of innocent children. Not only did Spencer repeatedly get convicted for these crimes against children, but was busted as a member of the "Family", a club that trades child pornography and tips on how to lure and exploit young children. What makes this practice so much more nauseating is that he was able to contribute to this "club" while behind bars for his other crimes. When will we all learn that crap like Spencer are not deserving of rehabilitation and are not worth the ground that they walk upon? I sincerely urge all readers to call their councillor or MP and demand that people like Johnson are not released anywhere near our innocent children.

 Thanks for Doug Holyday

In these days when rampant political correctness and runaway fiscal policies are leading our fair city to bankruptcy, it is certainly a breath of fresh air that we have a smart, responsible politician like Doug Holyday in the fold at city hall. Without a doubt, Holyday must be considered a front-runner to run and win the mayoralty from these left-wing spending dimwits led by the head dullard of them all--Mayor David Miller. This person spends and wastes more money than a hooker with a stolen credit card. Our beloved Toronto has been in decline over the past several years with spending, crime and cleanliness on the forefront of the minds of many voters. Holyday, who has proven himself as being fiscally responsible over his 10 years on city council also has a very strong administrative background highlighted by his long respected tenure as the Mayor of Etobicoke before city amalgamation back in 97. We in Toronto certainly deserve the very best and the best in these parts goes by the name of Doug Holyday.

Farewell Mats?

Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but Saturday's Maple Leaf game between the Leafs and Thrashers, was most likely be the last one for longtime Leaf captain and all time scorer Mats Sundin. Interim GM Cliff Fletcher has been working overtime to put together a deal that will see the big Swede shipped off to what my sources tell me will be the Flyers, Canadians, or the Red Wings. The hard part of the deal is to get full value for the aging, but still effective 37-year-old, a deal that might not improve the team at the very moment but with the proper draft pick might see the emergence in the next couple of seasons of the new face of the Maple Leafs. Sundin has always been the epitome of class in his 13-year stay here and no one can argue the fact that the big Swede always bled Blue and White for his team. Let's hope that he ends up with a team that has a real shot at a Stanley Cup that would really cap off his illustrious career. Lyca Till. Du Kommer Att Saknas.(Swedish for goodbye and good luck) Below are some of the career highlights of Mats Sundins career   • 1st European player to be chosen as first pick in the NHL draft-Quebec Nordiques-1989 • First European player to be named Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs • All time Leaf leading scorer overtaking Leaf legend and former captain Darryl Sittler in 2007. • Four times named to the World all-star hockey team • Played in a total of 9 NHL all-star games • 2 gold medals in the World Hockey Championships—1992 and 98 • Was captain if the Swedish Gold medal winning team at the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics

 Goodbye Mickey

What an absolute tragedy with the sudden passing of 19-year-old, captain Mickey Renaud of the OHL Windsor Spitfires this week. This talented and well-grounded young man was a true leader of his team that led with a maturity beyond his young age and had a chance at making the NHL with the Calgary Flames that held his big league rights. Condolences go out to his family, teammates and anyone who new this exceptional young man.
