The upcoming U.S. election will affect people all over the world, but only Americans will get the chance to vote. Would you like to send American voters a message? Make a video that tells how you would vote, and why. Even better, don't just tell them, show them: How have U.S. policies already changed the place where you live? What about the lives of your friends and family? You may not have your say in the ballot box, but you can still be heard!I'd like to tell them what I think of their opinion. Still, we have this site claiming to be "non-partisan" and just trying to promote "cross-cultural dialogue through innovative television formats," and "fostering collaboration through coalition building." And what sort of videos show up on our "non-partisan" site? Aside from a small handful of Hillary for president videos and a great many pro-Obama videos, there are several Arabs saying Americans are murderers, pleas for socialistic healthcare programs, and nonsense about global warming. Not surprisingly, there is almost nothing supporting conservatives and Republicans. To get some of the flavor of the site, here are just a few random titles and blurbs explaining the videos posted on this site:
Americans know nothing of suffering, by dearamericanvoter (Syria) An Iraqi refugee living in Damascus believes only one percent of Americans are honorable and that none of the presidential candidates are worth electing. American in Rome, by jpacetti This American citizen living in Rome, Italy shares views on free nationalized healthcare and affordable housing. Why People Hate The USA, by the_resident (U.S.A.) The Resident loves her country, but a lot of people don't. Let's discuss, eh? What kind of democracy is this?, by dearamericanvoter (Syria) Abu Rami feels that America needs to treat the people of the Middle East as well as U.S. citizens -- and that President Bush is a "butcher."Yeah, seems real "non-partisan," doesn't it? Still, is it possible they are trying to be non-partisan? Well, to find out what is behind all this, one has to but follow the money. So, who is funding this Link TV stuff, anyway? Link TV is funded by generous grants from numerous foundations including The Annenberg Foundation, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Wallace Global Fund, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Shei’rah Foundation, Open Society Institute, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Otto Haas Charitable Trust, and Park Foundation, as well as contributions from individual viewers. With that we see that some of the most left leaning foundations in the country fund this thing. In fact, the king of anti-American, leftism, George Soros, is the Chairman of one of them: the Open Society Institute. It makes one despair over any claim at being "non-partisan," doesn't it? No, it seems more like what we have here is just another boring outlet for hate speak against America and one-sided, Democrat Party advocacy. So much for bringing us together!
