Leave it to WaPo to throw a lifeline to Hillary, who will now refer to those who would dare to not vote for her already defined “deplorables” as “rabid deplorables”.

As the unwashed masses sit back waiting for the other shoe to drop on yet another painstakingly manufactured Donald Trump scandal set to go off any time between today and next Tuesday, the Washington Post is good for a laugh. If you, like the tens of thousands showing up for Trump rallies are enthused or excited about Election 2016, your obsession about the election could mean you are “addicted” to it, according to WaPo. Not only addicted—but even gone rabid!
We should have got a hint of what was coming from the WaPo’s headline: They’re calling this, ’The Election We Can’t Look Away From’. …”What was the moment for all of us — when, whatever our politics, we crossed over from avid news consumers to something more rabid?” WaPo ponders.
“Maybe scientists will someday study our brains and find this moment etched into the neurons, the way fire scars are preserved in the rings of a tree. Much has been said about the portion of the electorate disgusted with both choices, disengaged from the process — but there are also those so bullish on their candidates — or so frightened by the alternative — that they cannot bear to look away.”
Believe us, WaPo, many of us can bear to look away from your heroine Hillary Clinton’s smarmy smile, just for the survival of their challenged morale. Mainstream media outlets like WaPo will try anything to inject a Donald Trump losing in the polls meme into an election story.

“Even before the FBI announced, murkily, that it was looking at a new trove of maybe-relevant emails, Clinton supporters knew better than to count on all those landslide predictions. Trump supporters, meanwhile, know that the polls don’t look so great for them, but what about the “hidden vote?” We talk about wishing it was all over, but we can’t let it go. Like football fans superstitious about their “lucky” underwear, election obsessives can’t bear to miss a single tiny detail of this race, as if watching helps exert some measure of control. “There’s a sense of foreboding for a lot of people, that there’s so much at stake this year that we have to make the right decision,” said Jay McConville, a business development consultant and former chair of the Fairfax County Republican Committee, who checks social media and news sites for political nuggets first thing in the morning and last thing at night and “innumerable times a day.” Everyone around him is doing it; even his mother-in-law, who had never been involved, he said, is practically tethered to Fox News.”
We the people, including McConville’s mother-in-law understand what is at stake in Election 2016, it is the mainstream media that doesn’t. If there’s ever been an election the mainstream media “can’t look away from”, it’s Election 2016—because even amidst the accolades of Hollywood and take-no-prisoner feminists, their heroine is looking like she could go down, even with her goal of stealing it to win.

Meanwhile, we can see it all now with the martini imbibing Obama czars putting the finishing touches on the next juicy Trump scandal. But, hey, they’re only trying to get Obama a third term through a scandal-plagued Hillary Clinton, and nowhere near the “ADDICTED” “RABID” stage. Leave it to WaPo to throw a lifeline to Hillary, who will now refer to those who would dare to not vote for her already defined “deplorables” as “rabid deplorables”. But coming up with “rabid deplorables” is more of a giveaway than the other shoe dropping. Funny how the Dems always get away with their manufactured scandals they try to make stick on all opponents. The getaway determination of the Trump movement is so much better as its members intend to let The Donald get away with the 2016 presidency. No wonder Election 2016 is ’The Election They Can’t Look Away From’.
