First Lady's immigrant experience contradicts Left claims of Trump hate
After following through with a campaign promise to thoroughly vet incoming foreign nationals, liberals have gone overboard throwing whatever comes to hand at President Trump, coloring him as a racist monster who hates immigrants of every stripe. Claims scribbled on placards and spewing from microphones at exclusionary protests (Women's March) and paid riots become more ridiculous with each venomous, contradictory recitation.
The habit of denigrating white American citizens is a well-worn tactic as illustrated by a Latino ACLU official who informed a town's elderly constituents they're the minority, dying off and being replaced by preferred illegals; or a DNC chair candidate, Sally Boynton Brown, insisting her job as a white person is to "shut other white people down."
This unbound hypocrisy is being displayed on college campuses, in the streets of every large city and even some small towns. Case in point: out here in the hinterlands some 300 "marchers" were evidently transported here to walk the whole five blocks of town in solidarity with the Women's March, most of them complete strangers to the area. Why some of the 50 organizations George Soros sponsors considered this end-of-the-road ranch town to be worthy of delivering a bunch of hard-looking radical women and friends to stroll a few blocks was strange, to say the least. Hey, wherever you can pick up a paycheck, I guess.
But that was last week's news. This week, the uproar is over President Trump's signing an executive order restricting entry to the United States of individuals from seven countries overrun with terrorist activity. The complaint? That Trump hates immigrants.
Liberal trait: Receiving illegal immigrants with open arms, handing out welfare checks, SNAP cards and free healthcare against the law while helping them cast illegitimate votes
Countering the president's every utterance and action serves no other purpose besides undermining his executive authority, a complete reversal of their fawning over, encouraging and accepting each stroke of Obama's pen. But no one expects sensible action from democrats. Rather, contradicting oneself is the core liberal trait. Thus, receiving illegal immigrants with open arms, handing out welfare checks, SNAP cards and free healthcare against the law while helping them cast illegitimate votes--13% admitting they do so in a recent poll--is promoted.
What the majority of Americans support is the need to thoroughly investigate every alien wishing to enter this country, particularly those originating from countries that have produced numerous terrorists. When Mrs. Trump first came to the United States in 1996 as a Slovenian citizen, she was subjected to extra vetting as were all visa applicants arriving from the region that was riddled with strife and warfare. She had no expectation of waltzing across the border, being gifted with freebies and awarded with citizenship. She was more than willing to follow regulations because she didn't assume she was owed American residency and eventual citizenship.
This is the difference between Melania Trump and the millions who've illegally swarmed the borders or the thousands of poorly vetted refugees swept through entry ports. It is the difference of an individual sincerely desiring to become an American and those wanting to take advantage of America or even subject its people to a foreign ideology.
More power to the president for receiving immigrants who have a heart for our homeland, including his wife who personifies what it is to achieve the American dream. But raise the bar to weed out refugees and immigrants who believe America owes them something or plots its destruction.
