Global War: Pakistan in “State of Emergency”

Pakistan has just declared a war for its continued existence as a self-proclaimed Islamic Republic buttressed many democratic institutions which are legacies from its time as an integral part of British India. The Pakistani Constitution and other democratic institutions of government have been the ONLY bulwarks standing against the same type of islamofascist government as exists in Iran, and the same Al Qaeda forces which have been allies of the Tehran regime for the past 12 years.

Imagine the unthinkable!

What if the current government of Pakistan were to fall to islamofascists like those in Iran? Dare to imagine a Pakistan and its 50-some odd HEU and plutonium nuclear weapons under the control of those who executed September 11. Imagine Al-Qaeda with direct access to such weapons. An 'American Hiroshima' potentiality would not be far off. In consideration of these significant threats, I am forced to reiterate and question what part of my previous crystal clear statement --"all indications are that the political leadership of Pakistan has declared full-scale war on Al Qaeda, the Taliban and other islamists--many of whom exist within the government itself" -- do Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the U.S. State Department and the rest of the Lame Stream Media not comprehend? ALL of those arrested or detained have consistently been Pro-Al Qaeda, Pro-Taliban, Pro-Islamic Insurgency and Anti-Constitutional Pakistan. The long-term, existential threat to Pakistani democracy does not come from President Pervez Musharraf and his Cabinet-approved actions in the declaration of a state of emergency. There exists in Pakistan a today a very real existential state of emergency. Period. An America President and Cabinet would very likely do the same in observance and execution of their sworn oaths to support and defend the US Constitution and Bill of Rights against all enemies, foreign or domestic, given such similar circumstances as exist today in Pakistan. In defense of our own Constitution from an attempted Fascist, Communist or Islamic take-over, I would virtually guarantee such actions as deemed necessary. That's the exact nature of the excruciatingly hard decision taken by President Musharraf and his Cabinet. It is my hard assessment that President Musharraf has done what is absolutely necessary in order to fight the type of war he needs to fight to ensure that NUCLEAR-ARMED Pakistan does not become another Iran, and remains a democratic Pakistan when the crisis is over. Domestically, I find it mind-bogglingly irresponsible and ignorant of the reality of the situation in Pakistan for the U.S. State Department to officially declare the following in a statement: "The United States is deeply disturbed by reports that Pakistani President Musharraf has taken extra-constitutional actions and has imposed a state of emergency." Do America and our Pakistani ally a great big favor... call or send an email to Condi Rice and the State Department and ask them to read and give significant consideration to my words above and reverse course immediately. Otherwise, the 'Perfect Storm' will rapidly gather strength and America will sail head-long into it.
