Tax rates in the hands of Progressives are like matches to an arsonist

Hey, Progressives, the consumer is the employer!

What has been the defining difference between the U. S. and the rest of the world when it comes to innovation and quality of life? Conventional wisdom says it is the free enterprise system and an enlightened environment that encourages the bold to pursue entrepreneurial enterprises.

While this is true to a point, the vital component that provides the extra degree of separation between the U. S. and other economies is the fact that a significantly higher percentage of citizens have had the freedom and financial resources to buy products and services. Volume pricing is only achievable when the masses have the ability to buy with consistency. In reality, isn’t the consumer the actual employer within our free enterprise system? Growth in employment is a byproduct of an economy in which a growing number of people have money to buy products and services, save and invest. Aren’t people more confident and optimistic when they have resources and options? If this isn’t true, shouldn’t all of those in Congress be willing to forgo all of their perks and exemptions from the laws they pass upon the masses, and begin living like the masses? Shouldn’t they do so anyway? Are we a democratic republic, or an aristocracy, headed by narcissistic elitists? The elitists are not always those of money and title; in fact, many lack either or both, and they are envious of those who have either or both! Many were probably bullies in grade school and high school, and they have found politics as their lottery ticket to continue their attacks upon those they deem inferior. They see themselves as being better than the lowly proletariat, yet frozen out of the heralded aristocracy they believe is their birthright. These elitist wannabes aren’t happy unless they are making others miserable. They employ politics, legislation and education to their singular advantage, usually to the detriment of those they have sworn an oath to serve. After all, aren’t the elitists to be served, not to serve? Because they are so myopic in their politics legislation and education, they are blinded to the burdens of the ‘unintended consequences’ their actions beset upon the whole of our nation. Consider what happened when Richard Darman convinced then-President George H. W. Bush to champion a 10% ‘Luxury Tax’ on luxury items, including private airplanes, yachts, etc. What did the wealthy do when they were faced with being gouged by the government in a transparent attempt to ‘punish’ them for their successes? Many quit buying! They already had these types of luxuries, so why should they play the game pushed by envious politicians and class-warfare agitators? Stupid people rarely amass envious wealth, and, if a person is stupid, he/she rarely maintains his/her wealth.

Tax rates in the hands of Progressives are like matches to an arsonist

As the wealthy refrained from purchasing these targeted items, companies associated with these industries saw a decline in sales. These businesses had to begin laying employees off, the lowly proletariat, and tax revenues declined – big surprise! Tax rates in the hands of Progressives are like matches to an arsonist, and once struck, a vacuum swallows the oxygen our economy needs. It doesn’t take an Ivy League education to realize that with fewer people with disposable income, there will be an amplifying and deleterious impact upon our individual and collective economies. So why do those in Washington and other pockets of government around the country continue to pursue policies guaranteed to hurt working families, thereby stifling our economy? Who is really in control of the agenda? Are there people in the shadows who are deftly manipulating the ‘system’ for increased power and personal profit at the expense of the general public? There is an old saying that one needs to ‘follow the money’ to see who benefits, and how, from legislation. What are you willing to do to quit being a political punching bag and a piggybank for the obscure Progressive elitists and their political pawns who draw upon nefarious laws and regulations to maintain their presumed elitism, while repressing the masses? Thanks to the energy of the TEA Party, with the election of November 2nd, we’ve taken the first step in momentarily rescuing our country from the precipice, but much is left to be done. We have more elected people dedicated to championing policies and principles designed to encourage personal confidence and opportunities to retain more of our earned incomes. It takes three elections to complete a cycle in Congress, so we need to begin now to determine whom we are going to support in the next election on November 6, 2012. Who is running for office in your area? What are their core principles? Does he/she represent the elitist, Democratic or RINO Progressive agenda, or does he/she represent you and the masses? As the masses, we can be the driving force that determines the direction of our country, and what kind of country we will pass onto our children. Ironically, we are much like an elephant, in that we don’t realize we have the power to uproot, with ease, the ‘political post’ driven into the ground by our political ‘caretakers’ to keep us in our place. The elitists fear the self-actualization of the masses and our ability to control our own political and economic destinies! United we stand, divided we fall. You don’t have to be a politician to get into the game, but you need to become and stay informed! You can make a positive difference in many ways, but to stand on the sidelines is dangerous to your health and wealth! If those who are running for elective office support the status quo of elitist government and are supported by your political party, it’s time to summon the intestinal fortitude, the guts, to take a stand against this repressive manner of our current government! Identify individuals outside of the group of those in power who will support you and the masses by advocating private sector growth to rejuvenate employment within our economy. Heaven knows we need the increased tax revenues and reduced unemployment expenditures that increased employment will provide! The ideal candidate is one who is reluctant to run and who embodies the rare character that allows him/her to be himself/herself without deference to the environment in which he/she finds himself/herself. Most likely, he/she has had to overcome challenges, maintain a demanding schedule and execute a spending plan based upon money available, including payroll, or the family’s monthly bills. He/she is conservative, even somewhat miserly, in spending his/her money. Only those with this form of personal discipline can employ the same discipline when spending the taxpayers’ money! Most politicians are clueless as to how to develop an environment that stimulates growth. If they are short of money to fund governmental expenditures, instead of seeking ways to reduce spending, they steal from the wage earner, in the form of taxes, for their funding. Families and businesses do not have this ‘luxury!’ Our employment numbers will only increase as confidence in our government increases, and not before. There is money on the sidelines waiting for the right environment in which to use it for growth. Business owners don’t want loans to meet payrolls. They need cash-flow to meet overhead, and as a basis for growth. We need to rejuvenate the prospects of private sector growth, coupled with a reduction of public sector growth, re-crowning the consumer as the employer to regenerate our moribund employment figures and economy. We have one life to live, so why not take a stand for what is right? Children learn more by what they see than by what they are told! What are they learning from our actions?
