“It is believed New York, Texas and Virginia are all possible targets, though no specific locations are mentioned. A U.S. law enforcement source briefed on the threat information told CBS News’ Milton that the threat is possibly legitimate and concerning. The source said the threat may be aspirational and hence the lack of specificity. The source said there has been pressure on al Qaeda and its affiliates AQAP and AQIS (al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent) to regain relevance with its mission. “U.S. authorities are taking the threat seriously, though the sources stress the intelligence is still being assessed and its credibility hasn’t been confirmed. Counterterrorism officials were alerted to the threat out of abundance of caution. “While we do not comment on intelligence matters, we will say the counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States,” a U.S. intelligence official told CBS News. “The FBI and DHS, working with our federal, state and local counterparts, share and assess intelligence on a daily basis and will continue to work closely with law enforcement and intelligence community partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety. The prospect of Monday terrorist attacks coincide with a time when intel organizations like the FBI are knee-deep in the reopening of the Hillary Clinton email scandal and subsequent investigations into Clinton Foundation corruption.
“As we have long said, in this environment, homegrown violent extremists could strike with little or no notice. Our concern that violent extremists could be inspired to conduct attacks inside the U.S. have not diminished. “The public should expect to continue to observe an increased law enforcement and security presence across communities in public places. Our law enforcement community also continues to take action against those who attempt to engage in activities that could put Americans at risk. There are more than 100 Joint Terrorism Task Forces at work across the country in partnership with state and local law enforcement to prevent attacks in the homeland.” "The New York Police Department said it was working with intelligence agencies and the Joint Terrorism Task Force, according to the Reuters news agency. Intelligence about potential threats always increases during holiday seasons and when big events are approaching. “As Election Day nears, federal law enforcement is planning for several worst-case scenarios. Earlier this week, an alert warned local police of “polling places” being seen as “attractive targets” for “lone wolf”-type attacks by individuals motivated by violent extremist ideologies, sovereign citizen or other extremist activity.”

“As rally-goers continued defy him, Obama grew angrier and angrier, eventually demanding that attendees of the Hillary Clinton campaign event sit down and shut up. “'Hey everybody, hey,' he said, trying again. 'I told you to be focused, and you're not focused right now. Listen to what I'm saying.’ “He told them to 'hold up' a few more times before he furiously demanded that 'everybody sit down and be quiet for a sec.’ “'Now listen up. I'm serious, listen up. You've got an older gentleman who is supporting his candidate. He's not doing nothing,' (sic) Obama proclaimed. 'You don't have to worry about him’. “He said, 'This is what I mean about folks not be being focused.' “'First of all...hold up, hold up,' Obama said. “'First of all, we live in a country that respects free speech.' 'Second of all, it looks like maybe he might have served in our military, and we've got to respect that. “Continuing to scold them, Obama said, 'Third of all he was elderly and we've got to respect our elders. And fourth of all, don't boo...' “'Vote,' the Fayetteville, North Carolina, audience said, finishing his signature chant.”How’s that for having things down pat when you’re out in public projecting Marxist style? Once back in control, Obama used the moment to shame Trump for fights he's supposedly started with various veterans.
'We can't afford a Commander-in-Chief who insults POWs, who attacks a Gold Star mother, who actually talks down our troops, says he knows more than our generals,' Obama said. (Daily Mail) “The outgoing president recalled his first day on the job. “'I had to sit down with somebody who explained this whole nuclear thing. It will sober you up,' he said. 'It’s serious business.’ Bashing Trump, Obama said, “We can't have somebody like that handling our nuclear codes. We can't have somebody who gets upset because “Saturday Night Live” does a skit about him and starts tweeting at three o’clock in the morning. 'That's not the temperament that you want for somebody who has got the nuclear codes.' “And that’s what you get from a president who supports a replacement who threw national security to the winds with an unprotected email server in the basement of her Chappaqua, New York home. Was the war veteran in Fayetteville, N.C., an Obama plant? Did Obama plan the veteran’s disruption to bring the “handling of our nuclear codes” into the 11th hour of Campaign 2016? Was Obama revisiting possibilities of the past when an 11th-hour smear-ad wrecked Barry Goldwater's campaign train in1964, the one that showed a 5-year-old little girl counting the petals of a daisy that cut to a nuclear missile countdown sequence as she pulled the petals off? So about tomorrow’s possible terrorist attacks in three states? And ISIS striking to kill voters on Tuesday? How far would Obama go to hang onto the power of a third term in the Oval Office through the election of Hillary Clinton? Only time will tell.
