I am so sick of hearing that Donald Trump and Conservative Americans are anti-immigration. That is purely and simply a bold faced lie. We are not anti-immigration nor anti-immigrants. We are however against illegal immigration. Got it?
We do not believe we have an obligation to have our borders open to all who wish to enter. We believe we are a country of laws and that we have immigration laws that should be enforced.
Furthermore, we refuse to ignore, as liberals seem to, the negative economic impact of the open border policies by our current administration. We refuse to ignore the support given to "Sanctuary Cities" by the federal government. There is nothing legal about the designation that allows illegals safe havens from our laws. And we refuse to ignore the dangers to our national security posed by porous borders.
We ask, how can you face the good people who have done everything required to enter legally? What can you say? Sorry chump? The immigration policies are designed to control the numbers and suitability of new citizens. We don't need to be ashamed of those policies, they have worked well for us until 8 years ago.
Make no mistake, Hillary Clinton will continue the current policies or even expand them, Donald Trump will not.
