John Kerry has done nothing but fly his private jets around the world and preach his radical gospel for the climate cult

John Kerry: Climate Agitator

John Kerry leads an international jet-set life that might exhaust a runway model. If President Biden's special envoy for climate was not in Washington or relaxing at his mansion near Nantucket Harbor, he could be found in Brazil, Panama, the Bahamas, Germany, or Iceland. And that's just in February and March. (1)

In his effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions, Kerry has flown hundreds of thousands of miles, sometimes commercially, sometimes on his own private jet. In just nine months last year he logged more than 180,000 miles, emitting some 9.5 million pounds of carbon.

Kerry even took his private jet to Iceland for an environmental award. He defended his high-pollution ride at the time, calling it 'the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle' in an interview obtained by Fox News. The incident had not been previously reported in the American press. (2)

Kerry has long believed that destroying blue-collar American jobs is 'what needs to be done

While Kerry trumpets his meetings and appearances around the world, the State Department wraps the rest of his efforts in a cloak of secrecy usually reserved for CIA black box operations. It has refused to specify lists of people he is meeting with and who is advising him as he circles the globe. His office has stonewalled requests for budget and staffing information from legislators and government watchdog groups. The secrecy surrounding Kerry's work is reaching a boiling point with the threat of a congressional subpoena. (1)

Kerry admits zero admission in US wouldn't make a difference in climate change."Biden knows Paris alone is not enough," Kerry told reporters at a White House press briefing, referring to Biden re-entering the US in the Paris Climate Agreement in one of his first acts as president. "Not when almost 90 percent of all the planet's global emissions come from outside of US borders. We could go to zero tomorrow and the problem isn't solved." Kerry conceded. (3)

Credit John Kerry for trying to make the best of the futile spectacle that was the COP26 climate conference. Despite COP26's goal of 'consigning coal to history,' coal remains for the foreseeable future the No.1 fuel for electricity generation world-wide. Neither the coal loving Chinese nor Russian presidents (both putting off net zero until 2060) even bothered to attend the conference. The leader of the co-dependent India showed up but delayed his country's elusive net zero goal until an unimaginable 2070. (4)

Kerry insisted that by 2030 in the United States we will not have coal plants. Indeed Kerry has long believed that destroying blue-collar American jobs is 'what needs to be done.' (5)

China and slave labor

After announcing joint cooperation with China on climate change, John Kerry chuckles when pressed on China's use of slave labor to build solar panels. "Not my lane."

Note, Kerry has an over $1 million stake in an equity fund with links to Chinese slave labor. He has also said the decision to buy or not buy solar panels produced with slave labor was 'tough.' In contrast, as Kerry is downplaying China's use of slave labor camps, he supports destroying American energy jobs. (5)

India and poverty

Kerry has asked India to reduce its dependency on fossil fuel. This threatens the energy security and livelihood in the country of more than 1.3 billion people. More than 70 percent of India's electricity comes from coal, and fossil fuels dominate their energy mix. They are forecasted to continue doing so at least until 2047. Sadly 300 million still live in poverty, and many do not have uninterrupted electricity. A vast majority of the people still use unsafe, highly polluting solid cooking fuels like wood and dung and have yet to transition to clean sources like LPG. (6)

Vijay Jayaraj writes, "How is it okay for my people to go back into an era of power blackouts when you can fly your oil-guzzling private jet to Iceland to accept an award-and call it 'only choice for somebody like me.' Well, Mr. Kerry, I have to let you know that the only choice for India to fight against poverty is to use reliable, affordable fossil fuel, not unreliable, expensive toxic wind and solar."

Jayaraj adds,"Please Mr Kerry, leave the developing countries alone. If you cannot help us, do not hurt us by preaching the climate gospel. Don't force us to remain in darkness. You are talking about saving the world, yet you are asking leaders in the developing world to risk their own energy security and harm millions." (6)

Kerry and farmers

Kerry said, "We can't get to net-zero, we don't get this job done unless agriculture is front and center as part of the solution. So all of us understand here the depths of this mission" Kerry added that 'lives depend' on world leaders and scientists developing the tools necessary to lower agriculture emissions. I refuse to call it climate change anymore. It's not change. It's a crisis." (7)

Kerry warned that the world can't tackle climate change without first addressing the agriculture sector's emissions. He lamented that agriculture production alone creates 33% of the world's total greenhouse gas emissions, arguing that reducing those emissions must be 'front and center' in the quest to defeat global warming. (4)

GOP Rep Mark Alford responded that Kerry's comments were deeply offensive and he urged everyone in this administration to condemn them. A group of 27 House Republicans is calling on President Biden and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to disavow John Kerry's recent comments targeting food emissions. (8)

"Since assuming his post as 'climate czar', John Kerry has done nothing but fly his private jets around the world and preach his radical gospel for the climate cult," said Alford. "His latest remarks about America's agriculture industry paints a widely inaccurate picture. "Due to industry led changes, our hardworking farmers and ranchers have made massive strides in reducing global emissions and producing more with less. They should be applauded, not shamed", he added.

Why are we so in a rush to reduce CO2 emissions in the United States when nothing will come of it, especially when other countries have already proven they aren't going to do anything, in spite of John Kerry's preaching? (9)
