Liberty Counsel Calls on Congress to Stop Funding Planned Parenthood

Washington, DC - In light of the latest video about Planned Parenthood harvesting a brain from an aborted baby with a beating heart, Liberty Counsel is calling for an emergency moratorium on Planned Parenthood funding.

In the latest video, whistleblower Holly O'Donnell describes cutting through the face of a fully developed child to harvest his brain. "I am sitting here looking at this fetus and its heart is beating and I don't know what to think" O'Donnell recalls. O'Donnell was directed to harvest the brain by going through "the middle of the face." O'Donnell said, "I can't even describe what that feels like." After cutting out his brain, O'Donnell recalls putting his remains in a bio-hazard container, "Then I realized I was the only person ever to hold that baby." "We are living in dark times," said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. "Planned Parenthood uses our tax dollars to fund its massacre of helpless children. You and I are complicit because part of our tax money is going into the hands of people who are cutting out organs of developed babies and selling them to the highest bidder!" Staver continued. "Future generations will look back on us the way we look at the brutality of Nazi Germany or ISIS and wonder how we could have allowed innocent babies to be slaughtered. Congress must act to immediately stop funding Planned Parenthood," Staver concluded. Liberty Counsel supports the "Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015." Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) introduced H.R. 3134 in the House, and Senator James Lankford (R-OK) introduced S. 1836 in the Senate to mandate a one-year moratorium on the availability of federal funds for Planned Parenthood, while a full investigation is conducted.
