Local Left use Senator John McCain style ‘health hit’ to attack Conservative Rob Ford

“Fatties for Ford” should be the new campaign cry for Toronto mayoral candidate Councillor Rob Ford. The vicious left, which has held the city of Toronto in chokehold mode for decades, is pumping up the volume now that it looks like Ford has a chance of wresting the city away from the Socialist New Democrat Party (NDP) grip. In the city that banished leaf blowers, bans the use of weed killer on what has become known as “Dandelion City”, and where politicians like NDP leader Jack Layton show up wearing face masks on downtown streets warning people that the air is killing them, the left is making a Senator John McCain-type health hit on “RedNeck Rob”.

With a few more than 100 people attending last night’s mayoral debate, purportedly to debate issues facing condominium owners, physician Dr. Marvin Kay stepped up to the microphone as the moderator opened the floor to microphones, taking a whack at Ford’s weight. “I’m a physician and I look upon as you as a possible patient,” Kay arrogantly told Ford. According to the Toronto Star, “Smitherman mouths:”Wow.” Rocco Rossi and Joe Pantalone exchange shocked glances. The crowd goes deathly silent, then giggles. Ford looks irritated.” For readers who may not know the “characters” in Toronto’s mayoral race and what the Toronto Star is, here’s an accurate description. The Toronto Star, nicknamed the “Red Star” by small c conservatives and Canada’s largest daily newspaper, only last week editorialized that four mayoralty candidates in the race should step down allowing the race to be continued by Ford and former Liberal cabinet minister George Smitherman. And Sue Thompson, who had met with Smitherman and was self-touted as the only female in the race, did step down! Perhaps Smitherman’s “Wow” came from knowing that politically correct times protect him from being denounced as a gay. Politically correct times, however don’t stop people from calling him “Mrs. Smitherman” in the privacy of their abodes. We return to last night and the solicitous doctor. “Kay: I’m concerned about your weight. Do you think you’ll be able to handle the entire four-year term?”(Toronto Star, Sept. 30, 2010). “Ford: “You know what, there’s no secret that I’m a big guy. I’ve been a big guy my whole life. The doctor says I’m healthy, I got to lose a few pounds, but I sort of think that’s offensive...I thought that only came from my opponents...hopefully I can lose some weight..but I’m in great shape and I’m ready to do this job.” The phony left who have sanctimoniously enshrined a plethora of “visible minorities” think it’s A-OK to attack people with a weight problem. But it’s the fat excess and pork of the left running the City of Toronto that is the real problem here. With only three weeks left to October 25 elections, the good people of Toronto have watched as their daily newspaper editorialized to get candidates out of the race ensuring a better chance for Smitherman, and at the time of this writing are answering their doors to ACORN and other leftwing activists telling them for whom they should vote. Voters should ignore fathead MSM newspapers and activists and set their city free from Socialist fatheads on Election Day.
