Americans must turn their eye to local contests and boot the feds out of the county and state where they don't belong

National contest aside, battle to save nation is at home

The onslaught to destroy home rule, replacing state authority with federal overlordship, is being waged with a vengeance by the Administration in D.C. Tenthth Amendment be damned is Obama's mantra. He has encouraged the Department of Justice to go after states working to secure First Amendment rights and individual privacy rather than enforce law by charging the presumptive democrat nominee with the felonies she's unequivocally committed. Judicial terrorism against states has become the trademark of Obama's tenure, from attacking Arizona for passing an immigration law that mirrors the federal policy (which he refuses to enforce) to, now, siccing the DOJ on North Carolina for attempting to protect its most vulnerable and youngest citizens.

Miseducation of students through public institutions

HB2 has done nothing more than direct individuals with certain genitalia (including medically-altered) to use the bathroom assigned for that particular appendage, or lack thereof, depending on the circumstance. Truthfully, the concept of utilizing the facility for which their current plumbing is suited is one of both sense, and sensibility for others occupying that restroom. However, under current not-so-free thought that is now the norm, common sense has been relegated to the rubbish bin. Those few who have a waffling image of themselves as sometimes being other than what they were born, are being blessed by bureaucrat-determined guidelines to pressure others to, not only agree with them, but cheerfully entertain their passing illusions. How we've come to this crossroad of subjugating a whole populace in order to accommodate the wavering emotions of a miniscule minority is beyond comprehension. But the greater danger is the fact that federal government, which was created to do two things, advance commerce and protect national security, has been subverted to destroy the very culture that shaped America--that of individual freedom. What is certain is that there is only one avenue by which federal overreach can be brought back under control, and that is to re-establish the boundaries of local (county and state) authority. Mississippi and North Carolina have both taken initial steps to banish the federal agenda back to Washington, D.C., the only place where federal policy has actual effect. This is constitutional, however, the miseducation of students through public institutions, colleges and law schools has enshrined the concept that federalism means the national government's power overrides local government. It does not.

Local sheriff has greater authority than federal agencies

Interestingly, most people don't realize that the local sheriff has greater authority than federal agencies. For this reason, the FBI has no jurisdiction unless invited in by local law enforcement, or if the suspected crime has crossed state borders making it a possible federal offence by involving multiple states. States were required to become a constitutional republic before even being considered for inclusion into the federation of the United States of America, and they retain that autonomy even after statehood, as witnessed by the Tenth Amendment. Despite federalism's attempt to reconstruct the Fourteenth Amendment to invade the individual rights of each state, the only jurisdiction the feds have is actually within the federal agencies that may operate through satellite offices. Constitutionally speaking, their jurisdiction ends once they leave those offices or federally-conscripted property, which, these days includes the usurped lands of national parks, forests, monuments, buildings, etc. State offices, state-operated public facilities or private businesses and facilities are actually outside the scope of federal jurisdiction. The caveat? If organizations and agencies have voluntarily acceded to federal jurisdiction. This is usually accomplished through accepting federal licensure and, in some instances, funding. States are realizing that they need not be bamboozled into accepting feds throwing their weight around by perception... much like the perception of transgenders who are having difficulty deciding with what sex they identify.

What must be remembered by those elected to local, state and congressional offices is that they represent the individuals who voted them into office, not government. And it is incumbent upon them to decrease regulation emanating from federal, or even state and county agencies, not create more. As the debate continues about who is vying to occupy the Oval Office, Americans must turn their eye to local contests and boot the feds out of the county and state where they don't belong. All three branches of the federal government have been operating far beyond their original intent and purview, and it is up to voters to send them back to their proper jobs--protecting commerce and our shores from enemies foreign and domestic.
