OTTAWA—Large groups of police, some carrying assault rifles and what appears to be rubber bullet launchers, have begun moving along Rideau Street toward the core protest site in front of the Parliament Buildings, backed up by armoured vehicles, reports CBC News. A small group of protesters could be seen linking arms and singing “O Canada” as they faced the mass of advancing officers.-- More...
