Judge Martin L.C. Feldman, ruling blocking Obama’s moratorium on offshore drilling

Quote Of The Day

Maybe there some things best left to the Constitutionally-approved process instead of issuing moratorium edicts and playing fast and loose with the signed statements of others.

Much to the government’s discomfort and this Court’s uneasiness, the summary also states that ‘the recommendations contained in this report have been peer-reviewed by seven experts identified by the National Academy of Engineering.’ As the plaintiffs, and the experts themselves, pointedly observe, this statement was misleading. — Judge Martin L.C. Feldman, in his 22-page ruling blocking Obama’s moratorium on offshore drilling
Who knows if the moratorium would have survived if the administration hadn’t misrepresented the expert opinions sought to back up their case. When will liberals ever learn? Like children who can’t find it within themselves to admit they were wrong, the feds will appeal, and now that we’re on to them, let’s see what spoiled brat technique they’ll try and use to get their way.
