For all of those who worried how Canada Free Press (CFP) fared through the wild dangerous storm that passed through where we are in Nova Scotia—especially Barbara in North Carolina, Totsy in Louisiana, American boating friends Alan and Jeanne, who kindly kept us up to date on the direction of the storm through NOAA; Margaret, currently recuperating from a badly broken arm, dear friends Debbie and Joe back in Goderich, Tammy in Stratford, Cathy and Burt in South Carolina, Paul B in Illinois and far too many others to mention here: CFP made it through the storm.
Things were looking worrisome early this morning when we were posting Saturday’s front page. Rain was lashing against all of our windows, with howling winds sounding like a long, never-ending freight train.
This is the email, I wrote to Barbara, praying for us in North Carolina:
As things turned out, we never lost power here, and the only visible damage after the storm passed through, was to the massive sycamore tree on the front of our lawn. The wind sent flying through the air many of its thickest branches down, including a 12-foot limb.
The passing storm left approximately 2,000 active Nova Scotia power outages, affecting some 144,000 customers.
By the end of the day, aggressive winds shifted from the northeast all the way around to the west.
Whitecaps out on the ocean, breath-taking to see only hours a few hours ago, have all but disappeared.
Media-hyped as much as it was, Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lee will now go down as a mere footnote to Global Warming/Climate Change.
When it comes to the raging storms of Mother Nature, CFP seems to have angels riding on its shoulders, the same ones keeping us safe from Liberal hacks, trolls and Truth-suppressing social media players such as Google.
Truthful to say that the biggest storms are not nearly as menacing as the storm called Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has been raging over this once fair land for the past eight years—with no signs of ever abating.

Incredibly, with his crippling Carbon Tax taking a toll on all Canadians, Trudeau is now threatening a “grocery tax”.
“The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to immediately rescind his grocery tax threat. (Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Sept. 14, 2023)
“Another tax won’t make groceries more affordable, it’ll make them more expensive,” Terrazzano said. “Trudeau needs to rescind his grocery tax threat and scrap his carbon taxes.”
‘Expanding carbon tax exemption would save farmers $1 billion: (PBO)
“The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is demanding immediate passage of legislation in the Senate to expand carbon tax exemptions for agriculture after today’s Parliamentary Budget Officer analysis shows it would save farmers almost $1 billion through 2030. (Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Sept. 15, 2023)
“Making it more affordable for farmers to produce food will make it more affordable for families to buy food,” said Franco Terrazzano, CTF Federal Director. “The House of Common passed legislation to expand the carbon tax exemption for farmers. In fact, MPs have passed that legislation twice.
“The Senate needs to stop sitting on its hands and pass this legislation immediately.”
“Today’s PBO analysis shows the federal carbon tax on natural gas and propane will cost Canadian farmers $978 million through 2030.
“The federal government provided an agriculture exemption for carbon taxes on diesel and gasoline, but neglected to exempt natural gas and propane. Farmers use those fuels to dry grain and heat barns.”
As frightful in passing as it was, the Hurricane Lee/Tropical Storm that hit beautiful Nova Scotia lasted but a single day.
The outrageous, back-breaking policies of PM Justin ‘Typhoon’ Trudeau—pretending to be doing it for the Canadian masses—is tearing this country apart.
If Trudeau can’t be stopped, Canada as a democratic country will be no more.
There’s a hostile Arctic wind blowing from Ottawa and it’s still blowing over the masses after eight long years.
