Since the Nov. 8 election almost 30 college and university campuses across the country have declared themselves beyond the reach of federal immigration law.
They call themselves "sanctuary campuses" and more schools are considering hopping on the anti-immigration enforcement bandwagon. This is part of an "escalation campaign" by radical student organizations hellbent on fighting President Trump's efforts to secure America's borders and deport criminals who are present in the country illegally.
There have been demonstrations at many colleges and universities in support of sanctuary campus status. Reportedly the following schools have been affected: Connecticut College, Dartmouth College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Middlebury College, Mills College, Rutgers University, St. Mary's College, Stanford University, Texas State University, Texas Womans University, Trinity College, Tufts University, University of Illinois campuses, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Mississippi, University of New Mexico, University of North Texas, University of Pennsylvania, University of San Diego, Vanderbilt University, Wesleyan University, and Yale University.
The David Horowitz Freedom Center is launching a counteroffensive today against the immigration lawlessness that is spreading to institutions of higher learning.
The DHFC project begins at the University of California's Berkeley campus today (Feb. 1) with a speech by outspoken conservative Milo Yiannopoulos, Breitbart reports.
Backed by the Center, he will demand "the withdrawal of federal grants and the prosecution of university officials who endanger their students with their policies, starting with UC President and former Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano and Berkeley Chancellor Nicholas Dirks."
"The so-called 'sanctuary movement' is a concerted effort by left-wing administrations in major cities to thwart the purposes of the Patriot Act, undermine federal immigration law, and cripple the efforts of the Department of Homeland security to protect American citizens from terrorist threats," said David Horowitz, founder and CEO of the Freedom Center.
"Thanks to the efforts of left-wing activists and administrators, this seditious movement has now spread to our colleges and universities."

Napolitano is being targeted because as president of the taxpayer-supported University of California system she is deliberately harboring hundreds of illegal aliens attending UC system schools. She has forbidden campus police from working with immigration law enforcement and provided $5 million to aid those illegals she is sheltering from ICE.
UC even provides legal aid to illegal alien students who wish to keep breaking U.S. law through the University of California Undocumented Legal Services Center at the UC Davis School of Law.
María Blanco, executive director of the UC Undocumented Legal Services Center, explained to Rolling Stone in December what a sanctuary campus was.
"Basically it's a concept that says, 'You're safe here, and your immigration status, we won't ask. We won't turn you over. We won't turn your records over.'"
The DHFC is urging that universities that embrace this kind of sedition in furtherance of chaos lose their federal funding and that campus administrators like Napolitano be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The Center also plans to reach out to state lawmakers where sanctuary campuses exist to demand action.
