The Good—The Bad—The Ugly

“We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness…” ~ Declaration of Independence As a people, Christ set us free. As American citizens the United States Declaration of Independence and Constitution gave us the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The question is: Are “We the People” of America using the freedoms and liberty granted us wisely? Are “We the People” fulfilling the legacy our Founding Fathers envisioned for the gift they gave us? Or, are “We the People” squandering those gifts and setting ourselves up to submit again to a yoke of slavery?

The Good

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people." ~ John Adams The vast majority of human beings view themselves a “good people.” In the context of the historical American experience, what constitutes a good person? The position of most of the Founding Fathers is expressed in the words of John Adams “…a moral and religious people…” The fundamental guide for morals in the 18th century is the same as today: Judeo-Christian morals as defined by the Ten Commandments. Christian religious teaching of the 18th century provided the social behavior sideboards necessary for a civilized culture. In reality, a civilized 21st century culture should be using those same sideboards. Another element that made the United States of America work extremely well for the first 185 years was that “We the People” understood that mutual cooperation as a society worked because we had a common goal that was bigger than ourselves. That goal was to make life better for the next generation, and to love, respect, and serve each other to achieve that goal. A moral and religious people kept America advancing and creating like no other nation in the history of mankind. No other nation in history helped so many other nations of the world when they were in a time of need. That was the good of America.

The Bad

The vast majority of human beings, even bad people, view themselves as “good people.” Human beings are strange creatures. To live with themselves they must delude themselves that they are good. The majority of “the bad people” of which I speak are the people who have lost their moral and religious compass. These are the people who have no sense of “we” and are only focused on “me” and the things that make them happy in the short run. These are the people that over indulge in recreational drugs, sexual misbehavior, and want what they want when they want it. These bad people acknowledge no purpose larger than themselves. These people began to appear about 15 years before America’s 200th birthday. Many of them were the first victims of the Marxist takeover of the American education system. Their philosophy originated the first “as long as I don’t hurt anyone else, I can do what I want” generation. This was the first “me” generation. Many of these bad people will discover that being bad no longer serves them, and they will transition to “good people” through religion in their own good time. A discussion of the criminally bad people is for another time and place.

The Ugly

Because of weakness in The Good and the number of The Bad corruption is rampant at all levels of American government. That’s The Ugly! The Boss Biden government in concert with the Pelosi House of Representatives and the Schumer Senate are using federal resources in the manner of a tyrannical dictatorship. The Pelosi kangaroo court proceedings in regard to the January 6, 2021 event at the Capitol Building is abuse of power the Congress doesn’t even have, according to the U.S. Constitution. This “select committee” has every appearance of the show trials seen in Marxist countries throughout history. The Boss Biden Executive Branch law enforcement agencies are using excessive force against Marxist Democrat political enemies while inviting Marxist supported media organizations to document the takedowns. These federal law enforcement agencies are functioning in the manner of Soviet and Nazi secret police. This is not supposed to happen in the United States of America, but it is. The ugliest part of the Marxist Democrat Party, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer cabal, is their goal of sacrificing American sovereignty to the moneyed oligarchs of the One World Order. They want America to “submit again to a yoke of slavery.” The oligarchs have publicly stated that they want to own everything and have everyone else own nothing and be happy with it. The same oligarchs have stated that they want human population control to “save the planet.” That is slavery.

The Hope

"If our nation is ever taken over, it will be taken over from within." ~ James Madison Christians founded and nurtured the United States of America into the kindest and most giving nation to ever exist on the planet in the 6,000 years of recorded human history. If America is to survive the onslaught of Marxist tyranny, it will be patriotic Christians that come to the rescue. The Republican Party won’t do it and the godless secularists won’t do it. A revival of the moral and virtuous people the Founding Fathers counted on will need to rise up and re-establish Judeo-Christian values as the overwhelming guiding principles in our society and culture. That revival must start today and have the first major victory at the mid-term election on November 8, 2022.
