The Sound of Freedom -- An Alarm Bell for All of God's Children

Recently a colleague, Jack Gleason, wrote an article for Canada Free Press asking a very pertinent and pressing question: Is the “Sound of Freedom” the next “Shot Heard Round the World?” Millions of Americans have already seen this movie and it is breaking box office records on revenue in the midst of other summer blockbuster movies. However, for those readers who have not seen this movie – you need to, as Gleason’s question is spot on regarding the freedom of our children. In my humble opinion, the story of this quest to free the entrapped, enslaved, as well as the sex-ploited children has just begun. The movie may be just the beginning of the fight for the freedom of God’s children.

Unfortunately, this cancer of corruption and crime exists throughout the world

Just as Christians voiced their concerns and sparked the conscience of America over slavery during the dark days leading to the American Civil War, Christians again are now awakening and raising their voices in protest over the evils that are undermining the moral foundations of our nation that are exposing the people to some of the worst immorality and criminal behavior America has ever experienced. It is not just a matter of random acts of criminality or immoral behavior; it is rampant crime, corruption, and deadly violence. America is rapidly becoming a culture of corruption, crime, destruction and death. The current attack upon the children is not new; it is that now more people have been made aware of the extent of such cancerous evil.

Unfortunately, this cancer of corruption and crime exists throughout the world. Such attacks on the children of the world have existed since the beginning of human history. The “Sound of Freedom,” is calling attention to a reality that has existed through human history. Children have always been the most vulnerable within any human social group. As one views the movie, it can be seen as a modern day saga of the quest to free God’s children. And, if readers are able to digest this, the story not only represents a true story unfolding in our time, but this story can be seen as symbolic of God’s quest to free His children who have been lost to Satan all through the course of human history. Has not the freeing of His children from Satan’s control been the impetus of His Providence across the span of time over the entire planet?

Is this quest still not continuing in our time? The fact that the movie even exposes such a reality of depravity and sexual perversion demonstrates the truth of the quest. Many who were aware of this pervasive perversion, who dared to speak up, were usually ignored or marginalized. They were the voices crying out in the wilderness that no one paid any attention to for any number of reasons. However, the movie opens up a whole new perspective on what those who are called by God need to do in such a time as this. To quote a prophetic line from the movie: “When God tells you what to do, you cannot hesitate.”

In one deep, symbolic sense, America's future is linked to what Americans will do after they are made aware of the truth of how such evil has metastasized in our midst. Mahatma Gandhi is the one who is credited with saying that “The true character of society is revealed in how it treats its children.” It is a question of the value of the lives of the nation’s children. Gandhi wisely realized that how a nation treats its children reflected the true nature of its greatness. As we examine our culture-- the culture of crime, corruption, and a contortion of freedom that is detached from the sense of responsibility or accountability--Americans must feel something about such a culture. However, there is a societal hangover leftover from COVID fears, and the fears persisting with government intimidation, mandates, and oppressive federal agencies.

We are in a state in which there is no quick fix

The deep realization that should hit those who have awakened to the “new normal” in Amerika is that the government is either complacent or complicit in the death of unborn babies through the genocide of abortion, or impotent to help save the children who are kidnapped and sold into slavery on a regular basis. Gandhi believed that the treatment of children reflected a society’s ambitions and limitations. He personally championed the rights of the vulnerable and believed those with the political power should prioritize protecting the children and providing for them, rather than neglecting their needs or even simply exploiting them. His attitude was that if any society was not brave or strong enough to stand up for the rights or the well-being of the children, then it would never be truly successful. This is why America is in grave danger.

America is in grave danger not entirely due to the corruption and criminal elements ruling over the nation, it is in danger because there may be more cowards than people of courage in such a time as this. The old adage, regardless of who it is attributed to, is that all it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing is the current challenge. The fact that the “Sound of Freedom” movie has had tremendous success is an outstanding indication of an awakening and an emboldening of the normal citizen population. It represents the response from the soul of our people. However, if Americans are hoping for a David and Goliath moment when the giant is slain and the battle is over, they may be in for a rude awakening. We are in a state in which there is no quick fix.

The nation has fallen into such a pit of immorality and the tolerance of outright evil, that it will take tremendous effort to climb out of the depths of such depravity. If the “Sound of Freedom” is a shot heard round the world as Gleason may reason, it is just the beginning of the revolution of heart that must help us declare independence from the lying and packaging of “reality” by some sycophants of those media moguls who run the mainstream media narratives; to help us declare independence from the cancerous criminal cabal that permits, even promotes the killing of the unborn babies and the sex-tracking and enslavement of children.

If this “sound” is an alarm bell for decent, hard-working, God-fearing people, then summoning courage is required to declare independence from the operatives of the criminal political cabal that have been complicit or that have been central to the perversion, the enslavement and moral and sexual abuse of God’s children. Such injustice will not cease to exist unless God’s righteous people cry out and stand up to the godless giants that roam freely about the country with seeming impunity for their crimes against God's children. If American citizens, mothers and fathers and grandparents, cannot rise to protect their children from the onslaught against them, America will not stand as “One Nation Under God.” As Ronald Reagan expressed it: “If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be one nation gone under.”
