Time for the Destruction of America

The multiple destructive acts by the Progressive Left have accelerated rapidly. The goal is to cause so much destruction, so much chaos, that the country will soon be beyond recovery. They know that they have a hard deadline of the 2024 elections, but they don't intend to wait that long.

From its earliest days, America has been both a Christian nation and a Capitalist nation. The Progressive Left has long recognized the need to destroy those two roots in order to accomplish their goals of transformation and totalitarian control.

Christianity holds to the principle that each individual has intrinsic worth

America is a Christian nation, not in the sense that all citizens are Christians, but rather in the beneficial common values Christianity provides. Even at the time of America's founding, not every person was Christian. Instead, it has been recognized since the days of its founding that Christianity provided the strong moral foundation necessary to support a great nation.

Christianity holds to the principle that each individual has intrinsic worth. That every person has certain rights inherent in their existence that do not derive from the State, but rather are theirs from birth. It teaches that there are certain moral standards of right and wrong that are essential to a society, and that violation of those standards leads to discord and ultimate failure.

Such things as prohibitions against theft and murder are fundamental. Respect for the right of an individual to own property, to pursue their own interests in peace, and the right to fair and just laws are all principles inherent in Christianity. It was and is Christianity that gave the country a common set of morals and values that informed our government and our system of justice.

Likewise, America is a Capitalist country. It is capitalism that provides the opportunity for each individual to profit from their own work. It establishes the idea that the value of something is what others are willing to pay to acquire it, and that individuals prosper by providing value to others.

Capitalism is a system that allocates resources to those who are able to best provide value, and encourages the development of new resources through individual initiative and creative effort. It is wealth creating, resulting in more and better resources available to all, while creating new opportunities.

Christians have been accused of bigotry and fanaticism and of a desire to impose a theocratic dictatorship on the country. Capitalism has been accused of supporting exploitation of people, of greedy enrichment of unworthy individuals, and of environmental destruction, among many other things.

The Progressive Left puts forth its fantasies that they will create a perfect society where everyone is equal and will share equally in the nation's wealth. They neglect to point out that it will be necessary to have some people who will decide what is each person's fair share, and who will have the power to distribute resources according to their own whim. No longer will a person's success depend on their own effort, but rather on their ability to please the one who controls their very source of necessities.

Such control requires a complete transformation of human nature to have any hope of success. During the days of the Soviet Union, it was recognized that the success of Communism depended on the creation of a "New Man". That new man would put his own interests, even including survival, second to the needs and interests of the State.

Rather than the State existing to protect and serve the needs of individual citizens, the citizens would exist to serve the needs and interests of the State. The fact that the State was implemented by a small group of power seekers was only incidental. This is the system that the Progressive Left seeks to impose on America, replacing our freedoms with compulsory requirements.

How many people might be involved in the efforts to transform America?

Now some might argue that such a transformation is a natural occurrence, described by Karl Marx and is inevitable. That it might be due to the conspiratorial actions of a small group of people is absurd and simply a "conspiracy theory".

Consider, though, that every great transformation of a society has started with a small number of people who through their efforts were able to recruit support and build until they were able to change the course of a civilization.

How many people might be involved in the efforts to transform America? The number is surprisingly small. We can make a reasonable estimate of the number currently involved as follows.

Like the Wizard of Oz, the Progressives are not powerful enough yet to survive if the curtain is pulled back too soon

Not a large number at all. Yes, not all governors and Senators and others are part of the actual Progressive group, but this is just a working "ballpark" estimate. Undoubtedly, there are others unmentioned. Together, though, these are enough to control and direct the efforts of thousands and even millions of their minions to do the work of transformation. They can direct propaganda efforts, demonstrations and protests, propose and enact legislation, and selectively enforce laws to their advantage.

Speaking of laws, these people will never hold themselves accountable for breaking or ignoring any law that stands in their way, but will bring the full force of state power down on anyone who dares disobey. As Beria said, "show me the man, and I will show you the crime". We now have so many laws and regulations that even some laws are in violation of other laws. It is an easy thing to find some violation with which to charge the enemies of the Progressives. Even if they have to make one up.

So are things hopeless? Should we just relax and enjoy it as we are violated? Do we submit meekly while they destroy all we value and all that made this nation a beacon of hope to the world?

Some advocate violence, believing that only a civil war can set things right. Others think we should adopt the tactics of the Left and cancel those who espouse Progressive ideas, or engage in destructive protests like those of the summer of 2020, or practice lawfare as the Left has so successfully done. I don't think we need go that far.

I don't think we need engage in those things because clearly the Left has not yet reached the level of power they need before the gloves finally come off. They still need to pursue their destructive activities until they have enough momentum and support. Like the Wizard of Oz, they are not powerful enough yet to survive if the curtain is pulled back too soon.

They see the dangers to their children of the Progressive promotion of sexual perversions and sexual exploitation of children

Americans are a long suffering people. We will put up with and accept a lot before rising up to oppose injustices. Americans of all political persuasions and all races and creeds are seeing what is happening locally in schools, in communities, and in their businesses. They see the gross injustice of the persecution of Donald Trump and of the innocent J6 citizens whose principal crime was gathering to encourage examination of a deeply contested election.

They see the dangers to their children of the Progressive promotion of sexual perversions and sexual exploitation of children. They see the power of government used to force schools and businesses to lock down in the face of a mild epidemic. They see false claims of a climate crisis used to deprive them of the energy sources needed in almost every aspect of their lives, and the destruction of food sources needed for survival.

They see, and they evaluate, and they finally decide. Enough is enough. They know that those holding power will not easily relinquish it, but they also know that most of those who seek power are actually cowards who will collapse in the face of strong opposition.

Part of being a Christian nation is to stand up and confront evil and injustice. Christians fought to end black slavery. Christians fought in two world wars to oppose tyranny. Christians fought often to prevent the enslavement of Europe. It is this characteristic of Christianity that the Left fears to awaken and why it knows it must turn people against Christianity.

Capitalism creates wealth, and a wealthy people are hard to control. It is only when one can control the necessities of life can a people be subjugated. That is why the Left must destroy Capitalism.

Let us stand firm in faith and teach the Left the power of No. No more perversion, no more encroachments on our liberties, no more corruption of justice. It won't be easy, but it is time to say NO as loudly and effectively as we can.
