Wind turbines are another “green energy” pipe dream. These monstrosities should be outlawed. Not only are they an eyesore, but they are dangerous to the environment. Joel Merriman, a wind specialist at the American Bird Conservancy, modeled the death rate at the start of 2021. He accounted for the fact that many of the bird death studies were published earlier in the decade and the numbers will have increased since then. He also factored in that many deaths of smaller birds will escape the notice of studies. Merriman concludes that 1.17 million birds are killed by wind turbines in the US each year. That number does not account for the number of bats that are killed each year, as well as the death and adversity that affects many types of wildlife. Besides direct collisions, noise pollution, habitat loss, and reduced survival and reproduction rates are all side effects of an unstable and unreliable power source.
These turbines, along with every other type of green technology, represent the beginning of the desecration of planet earth. Imagine the consequences of millions of offshore and onshore wind turbines. Now add in billions of solar panels, billions of half ton battery modules, and the thousands of miles of necessary transmission lines. Meanwhile, offshore turbines are disorienting whales and dolphins causing many of them to beach themselves and die.
As I mentioned, wind turbines are unreliable and not worth the effort. In addition to the worn-out solar panels that will have to be buried, imagine the worn-out turbine blades and other equipment associated with turbines that will need to be disposed of. The landfills will need to be massive, not to mention the lakes required for waste slurries.
Last Thursday, Siemens Energy confirmed the unreliability of the wind turbines. It was then they announced that they will be conducting a technical review of its wind turbines which could have faulty components.
During an analyst call on Friday morning, Jochen Eickholt, the CEO of Siemens Gamesa made this announcement:
Siemens Energy, an international energy company that seeks to “decarbonize global energy systems,” announced that it is withdrawing its profit guidance for the year after subsidiary Siemens Gamesa found that there was a “substantial increase in failure rates of wind turbine components.” The company believes that between 15 percent and 30 percent of its installed fleets are suffering from component failures.
On the same call, Christian Bruch, President, and CEO of Siemen Energy said:
“The fact that we have identified more quality problems marks a significant setback for us. These quality problems go beyond what we were previously aware of, and they are directly linked to selective components at a few but important suppliers. At this point in time, we believe that the costs are likely to be in excess of one billion euros.”
While the government continues to pump sunshine up American citizens asses and money into their own and selected other’s pockets, the green energy Ponzi scheme marches on. All of their goals, which are really lies, have no basis in reality. For instance, none of the major manufacturers of wind turbines are profitable, so why are they still smiling? Because they know the left will continue to grant money and subsidies that will continue to keep them afloat. All the while, they will continue to enflame the radicals, making them believe that the lies, which are unattainable, are true. This accomplishes two goals. It keeps the money flow rolling, and creates division and chaos.
Green energy, is an unattainable pipe dream. This country and this world will never operate successfully on renewable energy.
The left loves to use terms like, clean, sustainable, and green, but there is nothing green, clean, or sustainable about any of this.
