Step aside, Julio Iglesias and all you other romantic Latino singers, Paco the Parrot is here. Bogota Free Planet (BFP) promised they would record for CFP the Parrots of Anapoima belting out the haunting refrain from the song “Cucurrucucu Paloma”, and that’s just what they did.

The first time BFP photographers trained their cameras on the mandarino tree where the Parrots of Anapoima could be seen and heard, Paco and Rosa were constantly calling out to each other. Paco is the partner of Paca and Rosa is the “other woman”.
