Bitter blow to Obama’s dreams of world leadership

Obama’s Dreams of World Leadership Dashed by Euro Conservative Voting

More proof was received from Europe yesterday that Obama is turning the world upside down in his quest to become the first United Nations ruler of the world. Suddenly left is right and right is left. At least in the western world.

That part of the world got a shock Sunday, June 08, 2009, as a very large number of people in most of Europe’s largest countries began to throw down their socialist governments by electing candidates from the conservative parties. Early poll results reported by reporters, Constant Brand and Robert Weilaard of AP as well as Hamish MacDonnell of the Scotsman showed voters rejecting the expensive programs of socialist styled parties in Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Britain. The early projections of the European Union confirmed that the center-right parties would win the most seats in that political body, possibly up to 273 out of 736 member Parliament, with other parties getting various lesser amounts. In the six major countries named above, right-wing conservative parties were leading; one exception to this rule came in Greece where the ruling conservative party was headed for defeat primarily due to economic problems and corruption scandals. In Germany where Angela Merkel, the current conservative Chancellor, will head into the national elections to be held in October, 2009 with an eye towards ending the “grand-coalition” of left and right factions that has been in effect since 2005. Merkel’s party stresses that the conservatives are acting correctly in the current world financial and economic crisis. In France, where conservatives are currently governing, they continued with their lead; Socialists were farther back in second place and the environmentalist party was a close third. The Socialists admitted that they would have to reconsider left-wing policies if they are to regain the Presidency from the popular Nicolas Sarkozy. Right-wing conservatives were also posting gains in other European nations such as Italy, Belgium, Spain, Austria, Hungary, and the Netherlands. There were other nations where not enough votes had been counted to make projections. So if the results so far stand up over the bulk of European nations it would be a bitter blow to Obama’s dreams of world leadership. The conservative trend against socialist/Marxist objectives would cripple his drive to unite America and all other nations with the mad dreams of the “One Worlders” who see the United Nations controlling the entire world. Obama is a strong proponent of the One World concept where the inept and corrupt United Nations, which should be disbanded instead of expanded, would control every facet of every person’s lives all over the world. Such a dictatorial concept will not be swallowed easily by persons of moderate intelligence; or swallowed at all by the more intelligent.
