The Liberal Reaction Response System

Called the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research, FCCCER is headed by past Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. The driving force behind the policies recommended by the FCCCER is Dr. Ezekiel J. Emanuel, Special Advisor on Health Policy to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and brother of Rahm Emanuel, White House Chief of Staff.

Dr. Emanuel’s views on the elderly sound more like the musings of Odilo Globocnik the creator of Hitler’s Death Camps and the architect of Adolph’s Final Solution. Check out this link. It is a paper entitled, Principles for Allocation of Scarce Medical Interventions. In it you will find a principle the writers’ recommend called “The Complete Lives System” in other words, “The Death Panel”. Of course my liberal readers will react on cue calling this opinion racist, homophobic, hated-filled bigotry. Sorry, this is not obfuscation. That is what liberals do. Nearly every vital issue we face today has been made murky by the liberal fog of spin, half-truth and outright lies. Nearly a year ago Sarah Palin used the term Death Panel when she exposed Obama’s favorite cost saving healthcare measure. Mrs. Palin was excoriated by the mainstream media and continues to be subject to a flood of derisive opinion pieces by the usual liberal hacks. Well it turns out that the left’s most hated woman was right. HR3200- will include oversight of Obama’s Death Panel. Here is a snippet from page 425:

‘‘(E) An explanation by the practitioner of the continuum of end-of-life services and supports available, including palliative care and hospice, and benefits for such services and supports that are available under this title.”

The text of the bill goes on to indicate that there are conditions that “the State” will consider when deciding to pay to allow someone to receive life saving care. The Liberal Reaction Response System (LRRS, pronounced “liars”) will continue to insist that there is no such panel simply because that exact title is nowhere to be found in any official governmental document. They don’t have anything to say when asked about all the names and acronyms they created to deride panels, committees and think tanks during Republican administrations. Another example of LRRS at work is a recent statement by Greenpeace. On July 12 of this year Greenpeace admitted that they were mistaken about global Warming. Take a look at this video. Gerd Leipold, the outgoing head of Greenpeace admits that the 2030 melting of polar ice will not happen. Actually, global temperatures are continuing to fall, but true to the LRRS principle, Al Gore continues to maintain that the catastrophe will come upon us in 3 years. Seems the environmentalist prophet hasn’t heard about the thickening of arctic ice and the gradual spread of the ice cap. Not to mention the explosion in the polar bear population. Noah Wyle needs to expand his reading material beyond the Huffington Post. Related to the global warming lie is the one about the United States and “green technologies”. It seems that the US is the only nation in the world that can affect the “ozone layer”. We are the only nation in the world with the capacity to pollute the entire planet to the point of extinction of all species. Hmm, in doing the math, I just can’t see it. The US is nowhere near as industrialized at Communist China. We changed over from a production based to a service based economy years ago. Most of the aerosol spray cans in the US are in the hands of illegal immigrant gang members, a protected species, and not in the hands of style-conscious housewives. The largest buying demographic of gas guzzlers is another protected class made up of the Hollywood elite and liberal politicians, so where is this assertion coming from? Have you seen the light bulbs Al Gore forced upon us, ugly little twisty things that hum at you if you get one powerful enough to get decent light? Guess what is inside of them; mercury. Yep, that silvery liquid metal that’s poisonous to both you and the environment. When they break, mercury vapor is released into the atmosphere. Al Gore has nothing to say about that. He also has nothing to say about the effects of solar flares and volcanoes on the ozone layer, or why NASA stated it expands and contracts more due to both those factors than anything else. When healthcare bill protesters showed up packing heat, the liberal media went ballistic. Even those whose integrity forced them to recognize the constitutional right, couldn’t help but call names. The Liberal Reaction Response System insists that the United States would be a much safer place if we only outlawed all (emphasis on ALL) guns. By guns they mean firearms; any device by which a chemical explosions sends a metallic projectile through a tube like structure with potentially deadly force. LRRS does not discuss the other side of that particular coin. In fact they consider the adage, “if you outlaw guns then only criminals will own guns” to be trite and simplistic. They also don’t like to talk about the statistic that mentions those cities that have extreme gun restriction laws. You see, those cities seem to have more problems with mayors running afoul of the law. Could it be that those particular liberal politicians, all loyal members of LRRS, are more in favor of the criminal than the victim? History seems to point that way. The liberal reaction to crime appears to be misguided at best. No student of history can deny that slavery, in the US and in the rest of the world, is flat out wrong. But the liberal wants to punish the innocent to redress the crime of the guilty, hence the abortive Affirmative Action programs. The liberal considers this statement, “We will treat every individual, regardless of race, sex, creed, or any other external factor equally and without prejudice” to be racist on its face because it does not give special privileges to certain preferred minorities. Name me one individual who qualified but was passed over for a job or a placement in a college or university in favor of a lesser qualified minority candidate who had a hand in the slave trade when it was legal in the United States. If you can, contact Guinness because you have found the oldest living person in history. LRRS does not and cannot think logically. To the liberal mindset, any form of what they consider suffering is evil and must be addressed. Long term solutions, unless it is for the sake of “the revolution”, are never considered. But, when reality rears its ugly head, things get muddled rapidly and “wanting to do good” becomes more important than actually doing good. Intentions outweigh outcome and in the end the situation is worse than when it all began. Witness our current economic situation. Obama has the highest ever recorded deficit, but “he has good intentions”. If you bring up a comparison between Barrack Hussein Obama and Ronald Wilson Reagan with a liberal, LRRS kicks in and any hope of a valid comparison goes right out the window, even though the comparison is really quite interesting. The liberal commentators consider such a study to be ridiculous and descend into the LRRS name-calling when confronted. But the history is there and cannot be honestly denied. Reagan created a surplus, in spite of a hostile Democrat run congress. Obama has created the deepest economic hole this country has ever been in and he is still wielding the shovel.
