We must be wary of Barack Hussein Obama

Faith of His Father’s; is Barack Obama a Christian?

There is an ongoing dispute about the religion of Barack Hussein Obama; is he Christian as he claims, or a Moslem? Nearly one in five Americans believe he is Muslim; and this number has the mainstream news media in near hysterics. We are told that we have to take his word for it, because this is a matter of personal belief and who he claims to be is who he must be. Or so the media says. But Islam is notorious for allowing deceit in matters pertaining to infidels. Consider Quran 6:22 066.002

YUSUFALI: Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths (in some cases): and Allah is your Protector, and He is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom. PICKTHAL: Allah hath made lawful for you (Muslims) absolution from your oaths (of such a kind), and Allah is your Protector. He is the Knower, the Wise. SHAKIR: Allah indeed has sanctioned for you the expiation of your oaths and Allah is your Protector, and He is the Knowing the Wise Or Koran 16:106 016.106 YUSUFALI: Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. PICKTHAL: Whoso disbelieveth in Allah after his belief - save him who is forced thereto and whose heart is still content with the Faith - but whoso findeth ease in disbelief: On them is wrath from Allah. Theirs will be an awful doom. SHAKIR: He who disbelieves in Allah after his having believed, not he who is compelled while his heart is at rest on account of faith, but he who opens (his) breast to disbelief-- on these is the wrath of Allah, and they shall have a grievous chastisement. or Bukhari 49;857 Volume 3, Book 49, Number 857: Narrated Um Kulthum bint Uqba: That she heard Allah's Apostle saying, "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar." or Bukhari 52:269 Volume 4, Book 52, Number 269: Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "War is deceit." Or this little gem from Islamic Law: Reliance of the Traveler (p. 746 - 8.2) - "Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible (N:i.e. when the purpose of lying is to circumvent someone who is preventing one from doing something permissible), and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory... it is religiously precautionary in all cases to employ words that give a misleading impression..."
This is known as Taqiyya, which translates roughly "Concealing, precaution, guarding.” Taqiyya means a Moslem does not have to tell the truth. In fact, if he is in the service of Allah, lying is not just acceptable but compulsory. Thus, having established that IF Obama is a Muslim, then we can see it is entirely permissible for him to lie about being a Christian. But how does one go about determining if he is truly a Christian? How to determine when someone is lying? In many instances it is impossible, but this is no garden-variety lie. Obama is not an atheist pretending to be a Christian, but the believer in a rival faith, and there are bound to be certain discrepancies. In point of fact, if Obama would answer a series of simple questions publicly he would dispel all doubts about his Christianity, but the nature of a lie is concealment, and he simply isn't going to do that. There in itself is evidence against him; someone should demand he answer these questions publicly and if he should fail or do so in the most grudging manner he will out himself. A simple recitation of the Nicene Creed, sans the last line (since Obama claims to be a Protestant) would suffice, provided it was done publicly and Obama proclaimed he meant every word. Christians are admonished in 1 John 4:1
"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."
What are these tests? In 1 John 4:2-3 2 it is pointed out that:

"This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God."
But that isn't enough, because even the demons admit that Jesus is from God, just not that he is God incarnate and the savior. And, of course, the Muslim gets around this by calling Jesus a great prophet and nothing more, so Obama could wiggle off the hook here. More is needed. For example, in Matt 7:16-20
"By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them."
Now here we can test Obama. Does his behavior conform to Christian beliefs? Does he now, or in the past, show signs of following the Christian heritage, the Bible, the path of Jesus? Another sign is 2 Peter 2:1-2:
"But there will also be false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves."
O.K. So how do we apply this to Obama? Bear in mind that this is the way proscribed to discern the matter, and if Obama is what he claims to be then he will have to pass these tests. In a piece in the Huffington Post on March 14, 2008 Obama said:
"Most importantly, Rev. Wright preached the gospel of Jesus, a gospel on which I base my life. In other words, he has never been my political advisor; he's been my pastor. And the sermons I heard him preach always related to our obligation to love God and one another, to work on behalf of the poor, and to seek justice at every turn."
Now, nowhere in this piece does Obama speak of SALVATION, the principle reason for Christianity. Works of mercy are well and good, and commanded by Jesus, but the first priority of any Christian is the salvation of souls. This last line seems to downplay that, especially "to work on behalf of the poor and to seek justice". In point of fact, if you remove the name of Jesus and insert Muhammad, you could preach this in any mosque in the U.S. Islam also teaches love for God and another, working on behalf of the poor and seeking justice. In a 2004 interview with Cathleen Falsani, religion columnist for the Chicago Sun Times Obama made these statements:
"FALSANI: What do you believe? OBAMA: I am a Christian. So, I have a deep faith. So I draw from the Christian faith." [...] "So, I'm rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there's an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived."
(Please note that nowhere is Jesus declared as the Second Person in the Trinity, or as the Savior. He is relegated to a "higher power", one path among many. This is a very liberal sort of Christianity, but is in no way incompatible with Islam; what "same place" is he referring to? Acceptance of Allah and the Prophet, perhaps?) When asked about his religious history he had this to say:
"As I said, we moved to Indonesia. She remarried an Indonesian who wasn't particularly, he wasn't a practicing Muslim. I went to a Catholic school in a Muslim country. So I was studying the Bible and catechisms by day, and at night you'd hear the prayer call."
This is a subtle half-truth; Obama did attend a Catholic school in Indonesia, but he was registered as a Muslim. According to this quote from the New York Times via a 2008 Newsmax piece:
  • A close boyhood friend of Obama, Zulfin Adi, said Barack "was a Muslim. He went to the mosque."
  • Obama's first-grade teacher at a Catholic school, Israella Dharmawan, said: "Barry (Barack's nickname) was Muslim. He was registered as a Muslim because his father was Muslim."
  • In the third grade, Obama transferred to a public school, where he was also registered as a Muslim. At the school, Muslim students attended weekly religion lessons about Islam.
Another statement that questions Obama's iron faith from the Falsani interview:
"I think that, particularly as somebody who's now in the public realm and is a student of what brings people together and what drives them apart, there's an enormous amount of damage done around the world in the name of religion and certainty."
Is this really the belief of someone who is a born again Christian? Now we come to the question that answers for us the matter of Obama's belief!
"FALSANI: Who's Jesus to you? (He laughs nervously) OBAMA: Right. Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he's also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher. And he's also a wonderful teacher. I think it's important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history."
An HISTORICAL FIGURE? A bridge between God and man can be said to hold a nominal Christianity, and is equally Islamic; Muhammad called Jesus the greatest prophet except for himself, and as such Jesus would be a bridge between God and Man, just as Isaia or Moses or Elijah can be said to be a bridge. Muhammad believed Jesus an important TEACHER! Here is another:
"FALSANI: Do you believe in Heaven...A place spiritually you go to after you die? OBAMA: What I believe in is that if I live my life as well as I can, that I will be rewarded. I don't presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing."
Christians do not believe in salvation by works. THAT is an Islamic concept. Obama has a Muslim name - Barack HUSSEIN. Hussein indicates to the Islamic world that he is a Muslim. His father was a Muslim, and by Islamic law he is also, yet the Islamic world is not trying to assassinate him. Islamic law demands that apostates be killed, and Obama is an apostate. Now why is it that they are giving him a pass? It appears that they believe - like many Americans - that Obama is indeed a follower of the Prophet. They clearly believe that he is lying to the American people to advance the cause of Islam. We've had Obama bowing to the Saudi king - an act of submission required of a Believer. Granted, he has bowed to many other people, but he did so AFTER his bow to the king, almost as if he needed cover; people noticed what he had done. We've had Obama's slip of the tongue, referring to his Muslim Faith while being interviewed by George Stephanopolis. As Kylie-Anne Shiver points out in American Thinker:
"First, there was the premier interview as president to the foreign press, which Obama gave to an Arab television network. Then there was the "suck up to Islam" speech the president gave in Cairo, in which he purely made up Muslim history to make Islamists feel good. Throw in the obsequious bow to the Saudi king. Throw in Obama's claim on international television that America is "not a Christian nation," but is indeed "one of the largest Muslim nations" (a claim which relied on more faulty Obama arithmetic), and it would take a nitwit not to question the president's credibility on every issue, including his religion. Add the weight of Obama's outward and pronounced humiliations of Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Obama's continual strong-arming the Israelis to stop building upon their own land so as not to irritate the Palestinians, and the perception of Obama's fealty to Muslims grows mightily. Throw in Obama's dictum to all American intelligence agencies that any mention of Islam in connection to modern terrorism is now a concerted no-no, and the "Obama is a Muslim" perception becomes a big, fat elephant in the room. With the elephant now growing great big tusks, the president one-ups himself and ceremoniously throws the weight of the presidency into the Ground Zero mosque debate. Choosing the symbolically significant White House Iftar dinner, in honor of Ramadan, with a roomful of prominent Muslims from around the world, the president clearly endorsed building the Cordoba House mosque. And no effort at political backtracking can remove that perception. The "Obama is a Muslim" elephant is beginning to stink at this point.".
Let's not forget Obama's command to the head of NASA to redirect that agency's mission from space exploration to making Muslims feel good about their contributions to science. Let's also remember that Obama worked for ACORN, whose mission is to STEAL votes and impose a leftist vision of society on the people through force of arms via government. Such work is antithetical to a true Christian. So, what do we have? Perhaps not proof of Obama's strict adherence to Islam (one could argue a sort of pseudo-Christian progressivism) but at minimum a sort of Dhimmitude, an acceptance of the right of Islam to act as overlord. If one were to question Obama, to force him to say that Christ is indeed the Son of God, the Second Person in the Trinity, and the only path to salvation, then we would have to conclude he is a Christian. That he answers in direct opposition to these fundamental proclamations of faith suggest strongly that his Christianity is less than skin deep. Did he adopt it to place himself as "down for the struggle" among urban black liberals? One must question a real, honest, belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. While it is unwise to question the salvation of an individual, we are commanded as Christians to discernment. A nominal Christian may or may not have salvation, and may indeed act in a manner at odds with the faith he or she espouses. Consider Nancy Pelosi, who rejects the teachings of her Catholic Church on abortion and other issues. Ditto Joe Biden. They have adopted politically useful beliefs over dogma, and in the old days would have been formally excommunicated. (In point of fact they are excommunicated regardless; excommunication means unworthy of receiving the body and blood of Christ, and any state of serious sin automatically generates that condition. It simply isn't publicly announced anymore.) We do not wish to judge Nancy Pelosi as damned, but we must judge her actions as anti-Christian and anti-Catholic. The same holds true for Obama. His faith will inform his actions, his decisions, will in fact guide us in our understanding of him. IF he is a Muslim, then he will likely act in a manner that may be construed as faithless or even treasonous, but may be completely consistent in his mind. It will certainly elevate Islam over Christianity, and every action he has taken seems to bear this out. Proverbs 23 states; "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". What this means is that a man who thinks a certain way will be that thing, and his actions speak louder than his words. A duck is a duck if it quacks and waddles, and is indistinguishable from a duck. If a man speaks like a Muslim and acts like a Muslim, what is he? The main apologist objection will be that Obama spent 20 years in the pews of Trinity United Church of Christ, listening to Jeremiah Wright. If so, why doesn't he know what Jeremiah Wright was saying? 20 years is a long time, yet Obama was completely unaware of the hatred for white people and anti-Americanism of his own pastor, the man who "converted" him. Either he never attended Trinity except to provide cover, or he is lying about what happened at Trinity and what his "Church" believes. Is he lying about his Christianity, or about the Church? And Trinity is at best nominally Christian, preaching such unchristian concepts as collective salvation, black liberation theology, and social justice. ditto the other ministers of Obama's faith, such as "father" Pfleger, Jim Wallace, etc. Now, we do not know that Obama prays five times a day toward Mecca, but we do not know he does not. In this regard, we cannot say with surety that Obama is a Muslim, but we can certainly say he bears a striking resemblance to one, and bears only a nominal resemblance to a Christian. At any rate, Many citizens of the United States believe he is in fact a Muslim, and he has done little to dissuade any contrary opinion. As such, he should be treated as de-facto Islamic. This is important; how can one believe a closet Muslim or a Dhimmi? Thus it is commanded of good Muslims; [Bukhari:V7B67N427] "The Prophet said, 'If I take an oath and later find something else better than that, then I do what is better and expiate my oath.'" We must be wary of Barack Hussein Obama.
