And now Obama wants a coming party for gays and lesbians in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Radical Islam does not see Lesbians & Gays the same way as Obama does

imageWith apologies to Kiko, Barack Obama reminds me of my little dog who goes up to the fence behind which the next door neighbour keeps his two German Shepherds. The much smaller Kiko struts right up to the fence for a ferocious bark--but only if he sees one of us has his back covered. The minute he sets the two dogs to barking, he makes for the back door. In this week before Christmas which sees the Big O lobbing metaphorical bombs at We the People, he’s revving up nasty from the safety of a thousand paces off. It was as “Commander in Chief” that he sent out an email message tonight thanking Congress--and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi in particular--for repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. He was disappointed, he said with the fate of the DREAM Act.

The only place, (other than the White House Christmas Party where he ceded the Omnibus presser over to former President Bill Clinton) that the courageous Obama has shown up of late was at kindergarten class where he read--from his own book--to children who make the greatest captive audience. Getting down to kiddie language in showing what a sport he can be, his Once Upon A Time tale included how he lived in a beautiful house. In street language, he went on to tell the small fry about how he sometimes had to clean up after dog Bo on the White House lawn. Will the President of No Couth, who runs to children and runs from adults, be belching next? In much loftier words, thanking Congress for passing “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”, Obama wrote tonight that “The fight for civil rights, a struggle that continues, no longer includes this one. “When that bill reaches my desk, I will sign it, and the discriminatory law will be repealed. “Gay and lesbian service members--brave Americans who enable our freedoms--will no longer have to hide who they are.” For the sake of their own physical safety, this could be the only time gay and lesbians should hide. There is empirical evidence that the enemy (Radical Islam) executes gays. Gays and Lesbians already have no “Civil Rights” in countries where radical Islam rules the day. And now Obama wants a coming party for gays and lesbians in Afghanistan and Iraq? It is outrageous that Obama would allow party politics to throw gays and lesbians in the service into real danger. Indeed, the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell puts America’s military men and women--no matter what their sexual preference--in clear and present danger. The enemy just takes aim and fires. Shame on this out of line Commander in Chief for putting the lives of those who fight for the freedom of others at risk.

Obama sends Saturday night thanks to Congress for "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"

From: Barack Obama .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) Date: December 18, 2010 6:30:25 PM EST To: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) Subject: Don't Ask, Don't Tell Friend -- Moments ago, the Senate voted to end "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." When that bill reaches my desk, I will sign it, and this discriminatory law will be repealed. Gay and lesbian service members -- brave Americans who enable our freedoms -- will no longer have to hide who they are. The fight for civil rights, a struggle that continues, will no longer include this one. This victory belongs to you. Without your commitment, the promise I made as a candidate would have remained just that. Instead, you helped prove again that no one should underestimate this movement. Every phone call to a senator on the fence, every letter to the editor in a local paper, and every message in a congressional inbox makes it clear to those who would stand in the way of justice: We will not quit. This victory also belongs to Senator Harry Reid, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and our many allies in Congress who refused to let politics get in the way of what was right. Like you, they never gave up, and I want them to know how grateful we are for that commitment. Will you join me in thanking them by adding your name to Organizing for America's letter? I will make sure these messages are delivered -- you can also add a comment about what the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" means to you. As Commander in Chief, I fought to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" because it weakens our national security and military readiness. It violates the fundamental American principles of equality and fairness. But this victory is also personal. I will never know what it feels like to be discriminated against because of my sexual orientation. But I know my story would not be possible without the sacrifice and struggle of those who came before me -- many I will never meet, and can never thank. I know this repeal is a crucial step for civil rights, and that it strengthens our military and national security. I know it is the right thing to do. But the rightness of our cause does not guarantee success, and today, celebration of this historic step forward is tempered by the defeat of another -- the DREAM Act. I am incredibly disappointed that a minority of senators refused to move forward on this important, commonsense reform that most Americans understand is the right thing for our country. On this issue, our work must continue. Today, I'm proud that we took these fights on. Please join me in thanking those in Congress who helped make "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" repeal possible: Thank you, Barack
