Something changed profoundly in the aftermath of the Arizona tragedy; a sea change that should have the lib-left and their running dog mainstream media in an utter panic.
Democrats are learning the hard way that Rahm Emanuel’s famous pronouncement, “Never let a crisis go to waste” does not include getting away with blaming the mass murder of a deranged killer on the Tea Party and Talk Radio.
It will not be tolerated by the masses who recognize straight off that there is no decency in exploiting the deaths of six innocents and the wounding of 14 others, including a representative of the US House of Congress.
That the ugly finger of blame was pointing before the bereaved could even bury their dead and while Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was fighting for her life in an Arizona hospital, is a national disgrace.
Hatred is not an excuse to ascribe blame for a mass murderer on your enemies. Vengeance comes from a place much higher than the worldly White House will ever be.
It doesn’t wash.
Lies are lies whether spewed by politicians or a lawman who would sink low enough to exploit a tragedy.
And now the same people who tried unsuccessfully to “pin it on” Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck among others are in an uncomfortable fix that is showing.
These accusers, some holding some of the highest offices in the land, will now have to don black armbands in a show of kindness to the bereaved and wear facial expressions of abject sorrow and grief. But the most necessary ingredient for condolence is sincerity, which they so obviously lack.
The Tea Party and Talk Radio have been living under threat and mainstream media smear ever since Nov. 4, 2008. It is both to their credit and a testimony of courage that they’re still there.
Will the disgrace of being seen home and abroad without their masks likely stop the Democrats from the wholesale demonizing of patriotic Americans?
Not too likely!
It will happen again and again as long as this administration is in office.
But something happened on Saturday morning in Arizona for those crass enough to seek opportunity in crisis. Within hours of the tragedy, they thought they assassinated the truth.
In the media frenzy that said the rhetoric of the Tea Party and Talk Radio was responsible, they thought The Truth was a lifeless corpse in their readymade coffin.
But right before their very eyes, the corpse called Truth got up, dusted itself off and walked away.
God protect the Tea Party and Talk Radio.
