Daddy, What Did You Do In The War?
Obama: His war on America, the Constitution, Impeachable Offenses
Some conflicts are of a nature to excuse one’s participation from front line assaults. Even then the outcome is contingent upon material and moral support rendered to the forces. America has experienced and withstood great threats to liberty, the very concept that elevates and separates her from all others. She is first among equals. There is little question that should the bedrock of its existence, the Constitution, be sullied in any manner, and in particular by domestic enemies from within, the entire world’s hope for justice and freedom for mankind everywhere will be severely diminished and perhaps extinguished.
There can be no doubt that the person occupying the Office of the President, having sworn to protect and defend the Constitution, is in fact the domestic enemy the writers of the Constitution warned future generations must guard against. His war on America commenced in the recesses of some individual’s mind to conspire to elect a person to the presidency in violation the eligibility requirement stipulated in the Constitution. “Sneak that one by the citizens and there is no stopping what else you can do!”
He has been unflinching in his crazed exhibition of egomaniacal self aggrandizement through the mechanism of the vast powers and control vested in the presidency. While increasing numbers of Americans are forced to apply for food stamps to feed themselves and family, and nothing has changed in the numbers of the unemployed in the two plus years of his White House tenure…he parties, plays golf, basketball and flies Air Force One on journeys we are told are of great importance to the nation only to read the after the fact critiques that he failed in his mission. Ever consider his failures are precisely what he wished to accomplish, a diminished America, one he so easily apologies on behalf of? He is now fully internationally identified as being ‘nutty’ or a fool or something they are restrained from saying in keeping with diplomacy, a dangerous joke.
Returning to the question of what Daddy did in the war, it is required at this moment in history to most seriously consider the grounds for Mr. Obama’s impeachment. Before doing so we must recall the constitutional ground rules.
Impeachable Offenses
Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution says, "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." In his report, Independent Counsel, Starr accuses President Clinton of committing eleven acts for which he could be removed from office by impeachment. Are any of those acts "Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors?" Well, that's up to the members of the House of Representatives. According to Constitutional Lawyers, "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" are:- Real criminality -- breaking a law;
- Abuses of power;
- "Violation of public trust" as defined by Alexander Hamilton in the Federalist Papers.
- Exceeding the constitutional bounds of the powers of the office.
- Behavior grossly incompatible with the proper function and purpose of the office.
- Employing the power of the office for an improper purpose or for personal gain.
