How many sincerely believe that Obama has been waiting to exploit the right calamity to at first impose martial law, then suspend the 2012 election?

The Re-Election of Obama by suspended elections?

imageThe fool proof way for Barack Obama to guarantee his re-election would be to suspend the 2012 election. Thanks to North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, suspending elections is an idea whose time has come. Perdue’s proposal dropped like the proverbial bombshell at a Rotary Club event was offered as a means for politicians to gain time to tackle crippling unemployment and a stagnant economy.
Was Perdue stretching for Rotarian attention or advancing an idea already on Obama’s agenda? “I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover,” Gov. Perdue, a Democrat, said, according to a report by the Raleigh News & Observer. “You want people who don’t worry about the next election.” (Fox News, Sept. 27, 2011). “It wasn’t clear how serious Perdue was about giving lawmakers a get-out-of-an-election-free card--especially considering Congress’ approval rating is in the gutter--but Republicans quickly pounced on her remarks.

“Now is a time when politicians need to be held accountable more than ever,” local GOP spokesman Rob Lockwood said in a statement to the newspaper. “Does the governor not believe that people of North Carolina have the ability to think for themselves about whether or not the actions of elected officials are working?” “Paul Coble, a GOP candidate for a House seat from North Carolina, also took exception to Perdue’s comments. “That’s a proposal that only the politicians that have worsened our economic mess could appreciate,” Coble, who is chairman of the Wake County commissioners, told the News & Observer. “Perdue’s office later released a statement suggesting she wasn’t really calling for a suspension of elections. “Governor Perdue was obviously using hyperbole to highlight what we can all agree is a serious problem: Washington politicians who focus on their own election instead of what’s best for the people they serve,” a spokesman said. About Perdue’s casual use of hyperbole, he easily could have added “just like Obama”. Many, if not most politicians, have technicolor dreams about their cushy jobs being permanent, but two years would seem an eternity for an increasing number of Americans who see a president deliberately pushing their country to the brink. Hyperbole or Soetoro shilling, there is no doubt that Perdue’s words sent a collective chill down the backs of We the People. Seeing Obama golfing, holidaying and seeming not overly concerned about tanking in the polls, freedom lovers have been waiting almost three years now for the other shoe to drop. They know at heart that for a Marxist ideologue like Obama, the strategy of suspending elections fits. How many sincerely believe that Obama has been waiting to exploit the right calamity to at first impose martial law, then suspend the 2012 election? The mainstream media will soon be raising the question: Why bother campaigning if there’s not going to be an election? The answer to that question fits the plan of any would-be dictator: Obama is not out there campaigning, but staying in touch with the people to sow seeds for the coming revolution. Obama needs more time for the total Transformation of America and Governor Bev Perdue may have paved the way for it to happen. Rather than get used to it, patriots should be seeking legal ways to ensure it never happens. New audio: NC governor struck serious tone on suspending congressional elections
