“Rarely do Americans agree on an issue as much as they do on government transparency. The fact that 90 percent of the respondents believe that information used in government decision-making should be made public is very telling. Recent events, including secret email correspondence coming out of the EPA and questionable loan decisions from the Energy Department, have brought to light the lack of transparency that exists in our federal government. The American people want and should have access to information that will enable them to hold government accountable.”Highlights of the survey:
