Nothing ever sticks to them after Tweeting their worst and they can laugh about it out on the golf links.
Politicians of the day never have to break out a sweat over hurling hurtful insults now that Twitter is here.
Tweet a Deceit is the order of the day.
And guess who’s now out there competing for best drivel with Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber and the usual suspects among Hollywood stars on the Twitter Trend?
The shoot-us-five-bucks Obama team trying to sell a pig’s poke on the hapless masses, that’s who.
Having pioneered how it’s done on their own, they’re now calling all robots to the Twitter Team. And just to think that free Obama-phone distribution in Detroit continues despite federal government shutdown (
mlive.com, Oct. 5, 2013).
BarackObama.com’s Organizing for Action wants
everyone who’s fed up enough to say “Enough already!” to join the Obama Team on Twitter.
“If you’re not on Twitter, it’s easy to start. It’s a place where many members of Congress and their staffers try to drive the narrative of the day--right now, some members of Congress think they can get away with blaming this shutdown on President Obama,” Barackobama.com’s Noco Probst sent out in an email to all on Friday
There are many who wondered from which planet many members of Congress were trying to “drive the narrative of the day”. Knowing it’s Twitter will hardly impress them.
“It’s the fourth day of the government shutdown, and House Speaker John Boehner is still letting the same group of House Republicans who drove us here to run the show,” Probst wrote.
“Speaker Boehner can end the shutdown right now--tweet at him to make sure he knows we’re going to be holding him accountable for trying to sabotage the economy.”
“Tweet at him?”
Big CFP news tip for Probst: If millions of small c conservatives can’t galvanize Boehner, how can “tweeting at him” frighten him into manly action?
“It’s Congress’ job to fund the government,” Probst writes. “It’s Congress’ job to make sure they pay their bills. Anything less is a failure.”
It’s President Obama’s job to present a budget. It’s Senate’s job to pass a budget and we haven’t had one from you Dems for, lo these past four years, Mr. Probst.
“What makes this worse is that some of these Republicans are arguing that they’re listening to their constituents--that Americans actually wanted a shutdown,” Probst continues.
Americans want accountability. They want grimy political hands off their Constitution. They want fast relief from Big Bloated Government.
Their version of “Enough already” includes scorn for a government that would cut off thousands of American troops serving overseas from televised sports while military golf courses remain open during the government shutdown; and sheer disgust for a government who would ‘Barrycade’ the WWII war memorial being visited by some 35,000 Second World War vets,; with a government that has ordered German Shepherd dogs in the hopes of barring them by intimidation. Thanks to Twitter, BarackObama.com has discovered the Fountain of Forever in Political Office’ and that if you Tweet a Deceit often enough it becomes the low-information voter truth.
Then again twits will always tweet rather than tell the truth.
Average people trying to get by and find their way through government-manufactured spin and fog should come up with their own ongoing hashtag: #Obama’saphony.

Friend --
It's the fourth day of the government shutdown, and House Speaker John Boehner is still letting the same group of House Republicans who drove us here run the show.
Today, we're asking everyone who's fed up to say "Enough already!" We're taking to Twitter, and I hope you'll join in.
Speaker Boehner can end the shutdown right now -- tweet at him to make sure he knows we're going to be holding him accountable for trying to sabotage the economy.
If you're not on Twitter, it's easy to start. It's a place where many members of Congress and their staffers try to drive the narrative of the day -- right now, some members of Congress think they can get away with blaming this shutdown on President Obama.
It's Congress' job to fund the government. It's Congress' job to make sure they pay their bills. Anything less is failure.
What makes this worse is that some of these Republicans are arguing that they're listening to their constituents -- that Americans actually wanted a shutdown.
You and I know that's not true -- it's time to call them on it.
Tell John Boehner this is economic sabotage, and it's got to stop now:
