I directly call into question the patriotism of Barack Obama

Obama’s School of Thought Dismisses Middle Class

The 2008 election is just hours away. Unfortunately, Americans are only now beginning to understand what Barack Obama meant when he said he would bring much needed change to Washington. Not lower taxes, not fiscal restraint, not government reform; but radical, socioeconomic change that completely reshuffles the deck and reorders society into what Obama believes would be fair. In the process, he would destroy our freedoms, hinder our successes, ruin our middle class and forever alter our way of life. Had it not been for a guy named Joe Wurzelbacher, Obama may have never admitted what his intentions were.

Barack Obama sees the United States, its military, its capitalist economy, its treasury and indeed all three branches of its government through the distorted prism of imperfection; through smudged glasses tinted green with envy; the ones so typically worn by bespectacled masses of liberal Democrats today. And because of those imperfections, these institutions must be broken down and rebuilt by Obama into something more equitable. Although most Republicans subscribe to the notion that questioning a man's patriotism is somehow off limits, I completely disagree. Through my sacrifices, I earned the right to disagree on that subject. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who puts his hands in his pockets and stares at the floor instead of paying his proper respects, whether it be during my National Anthem, my Pledge of Allegiance, the rendering of my Colors or the daily Senate prayer. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who spent the entire primary season carping about our failure in Iraq, despite the fact al Qaeda had their asses handed to them by the US military. A man who falls mute on Iraq when it no longer serves his purpose. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who associated in any way, shape or form with an unrepentant domestic terrorist who expressed zero remorse along with disappointment he didn't do more. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who sat in the church pews for 20 years while his pastor, friend and mentor spews "God Damn America" and hatches cockamamie conspiracy theories about AIDS and other hateful garbage. Democrats question Sarah Palin's parenting skills, but questioning Obama is off limits, even though took his daughters to that church. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who promises to abide by the limits of public financing like every other Presidential candidate before him and then breaks his word, thereby setting the bar for future campaigns high enough to render the public financing system and its requisite controls irrelevant. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who sees my country, my constitution, my system of justice and my entire governmental and social structure as imperfect unless it becomes a nanny state suckling her dependents on the wealth of others. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who uses his own skin color for political gain, calling the entire state of Pennsylvania racist and falsely claiming that Republican zealots were going to make an issue of his blackness. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who can't look an Ohio plumber in the eye and give him a straight answer about how that plumber's future would be affected by his tax plan. • His campaign says no tax increases for anyone making under $250,000.00. • In his infomercial complete with faux Oval Office, Obama himself said no tax increases for anyone with incomes under $200,000.00. • Joe Biden said no tax increases for anyone with incomes under $150,000.00. • Bill Richardson says $120,000.00. Barack Obama is a disgrace. His school of thought has now dismissed people solidly in the middle class as too successful to avoid taking a hit for that success. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who is spreading the belief that it is somehow selfish or greedy to want to keep that which you have earned. I directly call into question the patriotism of a man who would claim complete ignorance of the immigration status of his illegal alien aunt after she was discovered ensconced in a Boston housing project, despite being ordered to leave the country in 2004. The American Dream has always been earned. It requires an education of some discipline. It involves toiling away at minimum wage jobs until you get fed up enough with your station in life to strive for something better - in many cases while you are educating yourself. It involves climbing the social ladder one rung at a time, occasionally getting knocked down a rung or two and then clawing your way back up until your fingers bleed. Some people never make it. That's how it's always been. But Barack Obama has made it crystal clear that he intends to change that by implementing a fast-track process to allow the less fortunate to jump ahead of those who've already earned it. In his worldview, they've waited long enough. While we hold our breath and wait for the results, it is with the knowledge that, more than likely, we'll soon be holding our nose while the lawyers again sort this one out. In the end, this election wasn't about Iraq, the economy, illegal immigration, abortion or terrorism. It comes down to a few basic definitions; "working people" and "middle class"; and whether you can willingly suspend your disbelief for just a moment while Barack Obama uses his sleight of hand to convince you that General Petraeus adopted the Obama strategy in Iraq; or of his belief that the middle class should top out at $250,000.00, $200,000.00, $150,000.00, $120,000.00 or whatever Democrats deem too wealthy. Obama has waffled on that subject so often the last week of this campaign he has lost all credibility on taxes. So, let's see what America has to say.
