Common Core, the Catholic Church and Education in the USA!

Let’s start with a few questions prior to developing the content of this column. Do you believe most people trust many of those in government, not just in D. C., but also at other levels of government? Do you believe most people trust those within the media?
Do you believe most people trust lobbyists to those within government? Even if most people do business with big business, do you believe they really trust many of those atop big business? If most people don’t trust those within the government and media, lobbyists and/or those atop big business, why would someone trust anyone pushing any aspect of U. N. Agenda 21, including Common Core? With all of the discussion about Common Core, how many people have ventured to look into the future to see what the ultimate endgame of Common Core is? Contrary to the propaganda those in government, the puppeteer-controlled media, lobbyists and big business are feeding us, Common Core is an insidious attack upon the children/students of the United States. It is the fraudulent use of taxpayers’ money by an unconstitutional department against taxpayers, because, as citizens, we are all stakeholders in how well our children are educated. It is a government-mandated monopoly that makes student and related family members’ data a piñata for the monopolists to pluck at their whim. Common Core is the latest in a line of changes that have been alleged to be an improvement upon previous, purposely poor approaches to education. Any thinking person can realize there must be a lot at stake when the U. S. Chamber of Commerce is spending $50 million to carpet bomb the puppeteer-controlled media with propaganda promoting Common Core, especially targeted towards the viewers of FOX News. Isn’t it time that people, especially parents and those atop Catholic education, quit being duped by those whose agenda is a lot of things, but education isn’t one of them? The Catholic Church is in a position to take the lead in eliminating Common Core from the educational landscape within the United States, so why isn’t it doing so?

When considering all of the partial truths and outright lies offered by all who are pushing Common Core, we need know the players pushing Common Core, and be able to visualize what the end goals of Common Core are, even if there is no current, empirical data to support these visualizations. We need to begin thinking akin to a profiler, not as patsies. Our passivity will lead to our children and grandchildren’s spiritual, moral, emotional and financial poverty. As insidious as it may sound, we need to think as those who seek to dominate us think, domestic terrorists within our government, the puppeteer-controlled media, and the boardrooms across the country and outside of our borders. Only then can we anticipate the unthinkable, and act proactively. As controversial as the deployment of Common Core has been to this point, it can, and will, become much worse, as it becomes fully deployed. What most people fail to realize, even some of those on the front lines of this battle, is that Common Core, as exhibited by everything collectivists push, is a zero-sum ‘game’. It is all, or nothing! There is no compromising! Considering the magnitude of the tragedy of the priest pedophile issue within the Catholic Church, as an actively engaged Catholic, I pray that, at some point, the Catholic Church will take the lead in saving Catholic and non-Catholic students from the planned and devastating restraints of Common Core. Additionally, members of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) need to realize how many of them within the conference were deceived by those in government, the media, and business, when ObamaCare was forced upon us, via a strictly partisan vote. Once ObamaCare was rammed through, the HHS mandate was forced upon all Catholics, and others who share the same grave concerns regarding this immoral and unconstitutional mandate. It is time for the Catholic Church to take the lead on the issue of Common Core, and not to retreat, when the attacks and reprisals begin, from the puppeteer elites (domestic and foreign), the puppeteer-controlled media, those within government, and big business. There are so many negatives with Common Core that they cannot be itemized within one column. Aside from the data-mining concerns and loss of local control for our schools, which should alarm even the most passive and/or uninformed parent, grandparent, teacher and administrator, a major concern is that Common Core is purposely designed to drive a wedge between children and their parents. Because some students have only one parent, others have more than two parents, and others come from non-traditional ‘families’, the puppeteer elites seek to destroy the traditional family unit. Also, some students come from families in which their parents believe in God, and the inspired word of God within the Bible. This is an anathema to the puppeteer elites, their willing puppets within government, and the down-line lemmings within the media. Whatever the allowances are available now, for Catholic and other parochial schools to teach religion alongside Common Core, these allowances will surely be rescinded, when the tentacles of Common Core have fully gripped K-12 education within the United States. When parents are unable to assist their son and/or daughter with his/her homework and understand what is being taught within his/her classroom, the teacher becomes the ‘de facto’ authority. This is a planned effect of implementing Common Core. Parental authority is to be challenged and eliminated, and any spiritual, moral and ethical tendencies harbored by a student are to be eviscerated. This may strike many as hyperbole, but only if you haven’t peered into the darkness of the minds of those who are intent upon transforming our educational system from a focus upon the growth of the individual children/students towards the children/students becoming profit centers and mental widgets, to be used for the common good of the collective. As with the single-payer canard within ObamaCare, the ultimate goal of Common Core is the elimination of all but the public school sector of K-12 education, except for the few schools that will be reserved for where the elites will send their children. This will manufacture a permanent royalty class and a permanent underclass, just as our founding fathers envisioned! I don’t think so! Sadly, approximately 100 of 195 Catholic dioceses and archdioceses within the United States eagerly embrace the deployment of the toxic Common Core State Standards. Common Core standards; what an oxymoron! And the curriculum will be even worse than the standards! The leaders within the Catholic Church must stand in opposition to Common Core, in much the same way it stands for the sanctity of life. The priest pedophilia scandal was reprehensible and devastating for the victims of both the offending priests and pathetic response to their abuses by the hierarchy of the Church. As troubling as this scandal was, if the Catholic Church does not act boldly to remove Common Core from the educational landscape, the repercussions for the Catholic Church on this issue will vastly exceed those of the priest pedophilia scandal. Should the Catholic Church refuse to stand against Common Core, every child/student in K-12 within the U. S., Catholic and non-Catholic, will be subjected to egregious moral, mental, emotional and educational abuses. Catholic parents need to pray for divine insight, not just for themselves and their child(ren), but, also, for those atop the Catholic education pyramid. Parents may be forced to take extraordinary actions to save their children from their Church, and a consortium of government, media, lobbyists and business bullies. Some parents are already reluctantly removing their child(ren) from parish schools. Why pay tuition for a vastly inferior education, or, should I say, indoctrination? Now is the time for Catholic parents, who are committed to the removal of Common Core from K-12 Catholic education, to alert their parishes and diocesan high schools that their children will not be attending, or returning to, their parishes’ schools, or dioceses’ high schools. Teachers’ contracts are being offered now, and the schools’ administrators need to know that there will be a significant reduction in enrollment, due to the dioceses or archdioceses’ insistence upon subjecting students to Common Core. Of course, along with this, parents will be much less likely to participate in any fundraising events for their particular parishes and/or dioceses’ school(s). One would hope and pray that this would encourage the Bishops, Archbishops and the Superintendents of Schools of the offending dioceses and archdioceses to meet with the parents who are acting in the best interests of their child(ren). If this doesn’t encourage corrective action, the next option for parents may be to redirect their tithing to their parish towards worthwhile charities. Bishops, Archbishops and pastors tell us that the laity represents the body of the church. This body includes parents and their children. Every ‘body’ must be fed, and we are told that our health is dependent upon what we eat. If Catholic students are force-fed the rotgut indoctrination of Common Core, the children’s faith, minds and character will never grow as God intends for each of them to grow. The focus of this column has been upon Catholic education, but with the number of children who attend Catholic schools across the country, were the Church’s hierarchy to see past the Satan-inspired illusions of Common Core, this could also have a favorable impact upon the elimination of Common Core across the entire educational system within the U. S. Glenn Beck said, ‘We are all Catholics now’, when the HHS mandate was unveiled. This same refrain is appropriate regarding Common Core. Let’s pray that the chapter of Common Core within U. S. educational system gives way to a genuine educational opportunity for all children within the U. S.!
