Humanity, politics

It’s not so hard and it’s true as I see it!

I awoke this morning with the same feeling I have every day. I thank my God for the chance to try and get it right one more time. Which is not to say I have a gilded track record for “getting it right” in many prior cases. I mean I’ve had my day and then suffered the penalty of darkness because I got it all wrong. Many times I got it wrong because adults changed the rule in mid-stream and wondered why I just couldn’t get it right.
But, one thing I’ve been trying to do is accomplish what is right as opposed to what I believe I’m expected to do. This was something I was instructed in at an early age and through my formative years. I learned the way and means of shading truth and was heavily challenged when I was caught not telling “the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth”. Then, as I continued my young life I watched people lie and cheat regularly and justify it one way or another so as to not push people to inspect the cleanliness of their linen. Their ends always justify their means it seems. In some strange way, when man first learned to communicate, there developed a disconnection from reporting what he saw and what he wanted other to see. The Aesop fable of the boy who cried wolf would seem to be have been spawned in antiquity as an oral history then handed down as a cautionary tale. Too many people have come to think of it as a charming parable to hand on to children without making sure they understand the problem originated in the tale.

Tell the truth or there are consequences. It’s as simple as that. Humanity is universally afflicted with a disease known as “Ars Politico”. Some say it means the Art of Politics. Others proclaim it means you’re a political #. (Maybe that’s why the Democrats symbol is a donkey!) In whatever case may be true and real, we need to understand there’s a form of communication requires people speak in shadowy, cloaked and concealed language rather than speak plainly and honestly on issues affecting America but are possibly detrimental to the speakers. There’s a Code of Conduct proscribing or forbidding the discourteous conduct of calling a legislator a liar. Beyond the fact it may be because the statement is so obvious as to assure there’s no need to make the statement; it shouldn’t prevent or describe as being unethical the chance to “out” a liar as such when the need arises. This extreme politesse and etiquette that serves nobody but the speaker/politician is a disservice to the people elected these clowns. It’s been this writer’s stance and position on this issue that politicians would spend more time speaking the truth if they fully understood the fact there’s no good way to alter an orange jumpsuit such as are worn by inmates all over the world. It’s against the law to lie to a federal law enforcement agent. The violation of this law causes a severe penalty of imprisonment for however many months or years a judge may require in sentencing. Further, it’s against the law to “injure public records” in the state of Louisiana and may be so in others. This means you can’t alter documents to escape criticism or subvert the judicial system with falsified/altered evidence. I’d suggest legislation be enacted on the local, state and national levels to define this activity as a High Crime and/or Misdemeanor and to prosecute any politician found to be lying directly to the American people, from the President on downward and upon conviction remove the individual from office and/or incarcerate them upon conviction. The First Amendment protects our right to Freedom of Speech. Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said: “The most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man falsely shouting fire in a theater and causing a panic.” But it was never said you couldn’t yell “FIRE” to sound the alarm when there was indeed a fire placing the people in jeopardy. This false sense of propriety assuring the political aspirants and elected agents are shown deference and an elevated level of decorum because of the people’s need to select the lesser of two evils threatens the safety of the American people and their right to be represented with honor by people who understand the term. So, in ending this I’ll start with: ALL POLITICIANS ARE SELF-SERVING IN THEIR OWN RIGHT. BEAURAT OBAMA IS A LIAR. HARRY REID IS A LIAR. JOHN BOEHNER IS A LIAR. HILARY CLINTON IS A FOOL. NANCY PELOSI IS AN IDIOT AND BARBARA BOTOX IS A WITCH (sic)! See? That wasn’t so hard now was it? And it’s the truth as I see it. Thanks for listening
