"It appears someone on the White House press staff may have forgotten to use spellcheck". Fox New's description of what must have happened when the White House Press office misspelled the name of President Ronald Reagan not once but three times in an email announcing President Obama's Wednesday schedule.
But why would someone on the White House press staff need spellcheck to spell Reagan's name correctly in the first place? "The press office misspelled the name of 40th president Ronald Reagan not once, but three times in media documents about President Obama's schedule on Wednesday." (Fox News, June 25, 2014) "Later in the evening, the President will deliver remarks at the League of Conservation Voters Capital Dinner at the Ronald Regan (sic) Building and International Trade Center. This event is open to pre-credentialed media," the email said, The Weekly Standard reported. "The email again misspelled "Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center" in the 7:10 time slot on the president's schedule. "The White House's online post of the president's schedule also remained misspelled as of Wednesday afternoon

"In the version of Obama's schedule that is available online, Reagan's name is spelled "Regan." Mistakes have a way of mutating and multiplying when they originate from the White House. "The Washington Times reports the name of the building was also misspelled twice on a daily email briefing sent to members of the media." Would anybody really be surprised if the press office gremlin wrote off the mistake because 'Regan' rhymes with 'Vegan'? Back in 1957, The Joker is Wild was only an American musical drama, starring Frank Sinatra who played Joe E. Lewis, the popular singer and comedian who was a major attraction at Chicago nightclubs from the 1920s to the early 1950s. Lewis' throat was cut by mobsters putting an end to his vocal chords and singing career all for refusing to join their ranks. In 2014, The Joker is Wild is not Hollywood but real life in the fast lane. The EPA now joins the IRS in claiming to have lost emails needed for criminal investigation, and 35,000 Democrats guaranteed the primary of Republican Senator Thad Cochran in Mississippi Tuesday night, birthing the blowback movement, 'Remember Mississippi'. The Obama regime spells Reagan's name right in what must be the most egregious award of all time, the "Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Award coming Leon Panetta's way. Columnist Cliff Kincaid hits the nail on the head in today's piece when he posits: 😛resident Reagan will be turning over in his grave on November 15 when the second annual "Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Award" is given to President Obama's former CIA director and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta." "As we noted when Panetta was nominated by Obama for the Pentagon post, his Congressional career "was dedicated to fighting Reagan's defense build-up and anti-communist policies. "He is also a notorious leaker, having disclosed top secret information to Hollywood filmmakers about the Special Forces raid that killed Osama bin Laden. "The "Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Award" recognizes "the exemplary dedication and service of individuals in the defense of the United States and its people," the astute Kincaid continues. "In our column, "Panetta's War on Reagan's Defense Policies," we noted that at a time in the 1980s when Reagan had said, "In virtually every measure of military power the Soviet Union enjoys a decided advantage," Panetta was a liberal California congressman who "sought to undermine Reagan's pro-defense policies at every turn." "This, of course, is why Obama picked him. "Why the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library is giving Panetta an award is beyond comprehension. The foundation serves as the final resting place of America's 40th President." Problem is, Mr. Kincaid, that there is no real final resting place for America's strongly revered 40th president. For as long as the joker's running wild, there's only a final resting place for dignity and truth.
