Calgary is a permissive city when it comes to beating up Jews or perceived Jews and running to Syria to fight against the West

Calgary--Jihadi Capital of Canada

On Friday, Steven Blaney, Canada's Minister of Public Safety, released the 2014 Public Report on the Terrorist Threat to Canada. This year's report highlights the threat to the country from homegrown terrorists.
According to the report, by early 2014 the government has calculated 130 people have left Canada for Somalia, Syria and Afghanistan to fight for terrorist groups. Some have returned to Canada while others are believed to still be fighting or dead. What has been noticeable among those who were raised in the West but are bound to destroy it is there seems to be a disproportionate number of these jihadis who have lived in or have a connection to Calgary, Alberta. Recently we learned two brothers, Collin and Gregory Gordon, are in Syria fighting for the Islamic State. They both converted to the religion of peace before leaving Canada in 2012. As many jihadists who hate Western technology are prone to do, Collin has been very active on Twitter. After the video of the beheading of American journalist James Foley was released, Collin described it as "the perfection of terrorism." Notice he described the taking of a knife and the slicing off of Foley's head as "terrorism." It is possible the poor dear had media aspirations and knew he could never make it in Canada where journalists are required by political correctness to describe the nice young men who are fighting for the Islamic State as "militants" or "insurgents." If the Islamic State and other terrorist groups weren't so terrible, this would be laughable. Much of the media coverage such as CBC deal with the tragic story of these young men and how their families are concerned for their safety. Hopefully they are the only ones who are concerned but there are too many Justin Trudeau fans who blame resource depletion as the reason they turned to jihad.

Last month we found Farah Mohamed Shirdon, 21, was rewarded with 72 virgins while fighting for the Islamic State in Syria. In April, Shirdon was seen in a video released by ISIS burning his Canadian passport and threatening Canada. Like the Gordon brothers, Shirdon was a good boy who left Calgary in 2012 for Syria. Damien Clairmont, who also left Calgary in 2012, told his mother he was going to Cairo to study Arabic. Later, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), who were monitoring Clairmont told the mother he had not gone to Egypt. Instead he went to Turkey and then on to Syria. Mommy naturally blamed the government for not telling her he was suspected of involvement in terrorism. Clairmont, who had earlier attempted suicide but unfortunately was unsuccessful, was killed in fighting earlier this year. He leaves behind government benefits the province of Alberta no longer has to pay him. Another Calgary man, Salman Ashrifi, also left Calgary for Syria. Last November, he blew himself up in a suicide bombing at an Iraqi military base. He and another suicide bomber killed 46 people while fighting for the Islamic State. Is it a coincidence these men all came from Calgary, the same city where pro-Hamas demonstrators attacked counter-protesters and the police couldn't be bothered doing anything? The Calgary Police Service lied about whether they were there or not and one person who was beaten said he was asked by a cop what did he expect to happen, being wrapped in an Israeli flag. Despite numerous videos taken of the attacks that saw people, including women, being punched, kicked and knocked to the ground, the Calgary police refused to investigate, instead telling anyone who felt they were victims to phone it in. Arrests were only made after Ezra Levant of the Sun News Network set up a website called "Riot Stoppers," similar to Crime Stoppers. People sent information to Levant who then forwarded names to the Calgary Police Service who really had no option but to arrest the alleged perpetrators. One theory making the rounds is the police were trying not to upset or embarrass the city's Muslim mayor, Naheed Nenshi. Other than sending out a tweet criticizing violence in general, Nenshi had nothing to say about residents of his city being beaten because they dared to show support for Israel. There is no doubt Calgary is a permissive city when it comes to beating up Jews or perceived Jews and running to Syria to fight against the West. In the report released last week, the RCMP will begin a program of "targeted interventions" of those who have extremist views. Although the details have not been spelled out, the program will require the cooperation of local police forces. Good luck in Calgary. Many Canadians are wondering if their country will end up like the UK and other European countries who have ceded control of many areas to Muslims and who give in to extremists on a regular basis. To determine if this will become the case in Canada, Calgary is a good city to watch.
