In their campaign to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, thousands of fast-food workers walked off their jobs yesterday.

The nationwide protest took place in more than 150 cities, organized and supported by local community coalitions, Fight for 15, and labor unions, including the SEIU. Photos and videos of protests flooded social media, gaining enough traction to make it on Twitter’s trending topics—#FastFoodStrike. More...
