A Derbyshire artist has an extremely busy schedule on the run up to Christmas.

Ruth Gray from Belper is exhibiting at four events over the next couple of months as well as designing a 2016 calendar for Bakewell. "I have a solo show at Leabrooks Art Gallery between November 14 and 28 with 20 new works on display including Autumn at Dovedale," says Ruth. "I will also be artist in residence there during the weekend of November 22 and 23 for their Christmas Fair." From November 28 to 30 Ruth will be showcasing her work at Banks Mill Studios Artisan Fair at the Enterprise Centre near Banks Mill. "During December I have a solo exhibition at Cromford Studios and Gallery 10 where there will be more new works on display. I will be with my works for the Christmas Saturday Open Art Day on December 20." Ruth will be attending the Art in the Round Christmas Fair at Broomfield Hall on December 7. "As well as this I am currently producing 12 major new works for a 2016 calendar for Bakewell Business JJ Josephs Emporium. I am on number nine at the moment with three left to do. The calendar will be sold throughout the town and each image depicts different parts of Bakewell throughout the seasons." www.ruthgrayimages.net
