Environonsense--eco-faithful rant; DOD enforces EPA swiping water rights

Begin with brainwashed college students absurdly demanding their institution of 'higher learning', Western Washington University, rescind the masters degree awarded a state senator for admitting being a "climate agnostic." Sen. Doug Ericksen, who holds a degree in political science and environmental policy, seems to have used the term to illustrate how man-made climate change has become a religion rather than science-based theory. Evidently, that, along with his removing verbiage from legislation referring to climate change as being a threat to the state, was enough to invoke the ire of the eco-faithful to ply WWU to revoke his degree. Thankfully, the college administration denied the student cadre's wish for retribution.
Washington State, overflowing with climate change worshippers, experienced a blockade of a Seattle port terminal in mid-May as Royal Dutch Shell attempted to load a floating oil rig bound for Alaskan seas. Fearing the balance of nature in the Arctic would be upset, kayakers on the water and dancing protesters on land had the City of Seattle's collaboration as it issued the oil company a fine for lacking the proper permit to use the terminal. It appears that none of the eco-advocates had read lead IPCC Author Dr. Philip Lloyd's article that climate change is a natural, cyclical phenomenon, anything but human-caused. And while President Obama can't manage to devise a strategy to combat ISIS, the EPA is fast producing a strategy to fight the decline of the honeybee, the first front of which is to adjust land use to be bee friendly. The problem with this tactic is that bee specialists don't actually know what's caused the bees' demise and are stymied as to how to increase bee propagation. Presuming that the answer lies in more inevitably wasteful studies and guessing that regulating crop cultivation might work, government will speculate with $82 million more tax dollars. Moving from the moronic, environonsense enters the realm of wanton excess with the EPA claiming ownership (in the name of the United States, mind you) of everything from the earth's atmosphere to rainwater runoff that puddles in the backyard. Hardly a frivolous statement as the Waters of the United States rule joins the myriad of other administrative rules regulating exhalations to passing gas, whether by a moose, cow or other living being.

The name of the rule alone states exactly what the Administration expects to enforce: government ownership of every drop of water flowing throughout this land by definition:
"PART 328--DEFINITION OF WATERS OF THE UNITED STATES AUTHORITY: 33 U.S.C. 1344. SOURCE: 51 FR 41250, Nov. 13, 1986, unless otherwise noted. ยง328.3 Definitions. For the purpose of this regulation these terms are defined as follows: (a) The term waters of the United States means (1) All waters which are currently used, or were used in the past, or may be susceptible to use in interstate or foreign commerce, including all waters which are subject to the ebb and flow of the tide; (2) All interstate waters including interstate wetlands; (3) All other waters such as intrastate lakes, rivers, streams (including intermittent streams), mudflats, sandflats, wetlands, sloughs, prairie potholes, wet meadows, playa lakes, or natural ponds, the use, degradation or destruction of which could affect inter- state or foreign commerce including any such waters:"
... Etc. and so on, ad infinitum. Note how basically nothing is missed, including a "prairie pothole," over which the EPA claims jurisdiction in this 88-page rule published in the Code of Federal Regulations...
"In addition, the agencies propose that ''other waters'' (those not fitting in any of the above categories) could be determined to be ''waters of the United States'' through a case-specific showing that, either alone or in combination with similarly situated ''other waters'' in the region, they have a ''significant nexus'' to a traditional navigable water, interstate water, or the territorial seas. The rule would also offer a definition of significant nexus and explain how similarly situated ''other waters'' in the region should be identified."
Of special interest should be how the EPA imposes its authority. No longer does it just rely on the use of fines and penalties, now representatives of administrative agencies such as Bureau of Land Management, Fish and Game and the Forest Service--all of which enforce EPA regulations--are equipped with firearms. These have essentially become an armed branch of the military illegally operating in the domestic United States. Before determining that this is a leap beyond rationality, read further. After visiting the links regarding EPA rules, please note the obvious that the EPA regulations are implemented through the Department of Defense, the military. What may have appeared innocuous expediency 100 years ago as the Army Corp of Engineers built dams, waterways, roads and infrastructure around the nation has since taken on another form. The rash of environmental laws enacted in the last half of the 20th century incorporated this division of the military into the legal process of the new EPA's absorption of jurisdiction over our air, water and land. The stated intention was to preserve the rights of these elements and those of animals that also inhabit the land. In this way, the back door was opened to the DOD assuming authority over the citizen's basic rights using the Corp of Engineers as the conduit to militarize EPA rule enforcers. The military is prohibited from exercising force against the People of the United States and yet these agencies now wander the fields and forests of our nation wielding guns and other arms to enforce environmental rules that do not equal the weight of actual legislation1. We have watched the illegal arming of government paramilitary patrols targeting citizens using their own land in supposed contravention to administrative claim of ownership. Basically, government is now claiming ownership of water (disregarding individual property, water and mineral rights) that flows through, under and over privately-held land, and is enforcing its claims using gun-toting DOD representatives against US citizens. Environonsense has assumed the force of law with hostility toward the United States' own people, all in the name of protecting the land from those who hold most reverence for it--the actual owners, you and me. 1.
