In the 2008 presidential election cycle, pundits in the media who handicap political wars decided that Hillary Clinton was "Inevitable,” as the Democrat nominee for the presidency and thus the US presidency was handed to her on a silver platter, at least in the newsrooms of the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, CNN, MSNBC and other far-left media centers.
Unfortunately for Hillary, leftist writers and reporters do not cast electoral votes. To date, elections are still decided in private voting booths in schools and other municipal venues where ordinary citizens congregate to fulfill the greatest civic responsibility and right incumbent on US citizens…the right to vote!
To Hillary's chagrin, Barack Hussein Obama, a clean and articulate African-American liberal caught the attention of the mainstream media always on the prowl for a person of color to promote and enshrine in order to assuage white guilt.
As the Obama phenomenon took hold, political pundits decided that having a black; “first ever” president was more vital to the American brand than having a female “first ever” installed in the Oval Office.
Thus did Hillary Clinton’s first “Inevitability” campaign crash and burn as America was fooled into electing an unqualified, anti-American heretic, now known as The One, Barack Hussein Obama.
Eight years later, with Obama thankfully “termed out” for presidential consideration and no prominent “clean and articulate” racial minority to turn to, the pundits have decided to recycle the Hillary Clinton “inevitability” narrative for 2016.
And so it has been another season of disgusting pandering by the media toward Hillary Clinton, where she has once again been declared president of the US by low-information reporters and writers in the bars and newsrooms of liberal towers of power from coast to coast.
In a humiliating repeat of her 2008 debacle, Hillary Clinton is on a "fast track" descent from her lofty perch in the the "Inevitably" class down to the real world.
Her shocking political demise has been prompted by an incredibly bad summer of serious stumbles, including her alleged disregard for national security through dangerous misuse of personal e-mail and computer servers for Top Secret government business.
Hillary's entanglement has grown so problematic that the former Secretary of State may face criminal investigations for her behavior, in addition to the swords and daggers that Republicans in Congress have at the ready once the summer recess ends.
So it is that Hillary Clinton appears on the verge of another “inevitability” crash and burn event.
Whether Hillary winds up in federal prison for violation of national security regulations or any number of other federal offenses for which she is culpable, or is sent home to Chappaqua, New York in the protective custody of her perjury-tainted, sexually deviant spouse remains to be seen.
What does seem "inevitable," however, is this: Hillary Rodham Clinton will not be the first female president of the US!
