AFGHANISTAN AFTER AMERICA

AFGHANISTAN AFTER AMERICAOn September 27, 1996, the State Department was very surprised when the Taliban took Kabul. All of the official reports stated that the Taliban were not likely to take the capital. A lone memo, which never reached Bill Clinton's Secretary of State, warned it could happen, but was mostly ignored until nine days later when the Taliban “unexpectedly” marched into the city. Biden and his allies claimed that no one could have anticipated that the Taliban would take Afghanistan in 11 days. As the Washington Post recently noted, “On Sept. 27, 1996, Taliban forces captured Kabul overnight, flooding in from all directions after a 15-day sweep of the country. (In August 2021, it would take 10 days.)“ Were Biden and Milley really that surprised by those extra 4 or 5 days (depending on how you do the math) that they didn’t see it coming?

America’s Problem is Racial Pessimism, Not Racism

America’s Problem is Racial Pessimism, Not RacismIn December 1963, even after the assassination of Medgar Evers and the KKK bombing of a Baptist church that year, a poll found that 70% of black people believed that race relations between black and white people would eventually be worked out. Only 26% believed otherwise. In 2021, after one black man in the White House, and another black woman there now, with 59 black members of Congress, and a third of America's biggest cities being run by black mayors, 59% of black people believe race relations are doomed.

THE NEW SOCIAL JUSTICE WAR ON DRUGS IS BIGGER THAN EVER

THE NEW SOCIAL JUSTICE WAR ON DRUGS IS BIGGER THAN EVERCalifornia legalized pot 5 years ago, but you couldn’t tell that from the scale of the drug war. Every few months brings another massive bust. A 40-acre illegal pot farm in an obscure part of Death Valley, the "most elaborate illegal marijuana" setup in Mendota with 50,000 pot plants that was so big that police could smell it from 1,100 feet in the air, “vast groves” worth $169 million in the eastern Sierras, and $285 million in the old Shasta region of the gold rush.

The Small Secessions of the New Civil War

The Small Secessions of the New Civil WarThat a battle over Atlanta would play nearly as pivotal a role in the country’s second civil war as it did in the first might have surprised few historians. What might have surprised them is that the battle would involve civic meetings rather than bullets. There are plenty of bullets in Buckhead, a part of Atlanta coping with runaway crime under the pro-crime rule of Mayor Keisha Bottoms, and those bullets have inspired local residents to secede and form their own police force.

THE WHITENESS OF WOKE

THE WHITENESS OF WOKE“If You're Not Outraged, You're Not Paying Attention” the bumper stickers on a thousand SUVs in the upscale bedroom communities of dysfunctional cities read. “Deutschland Erwache,” the National Socialists used to shout in the streets of Munich. Woke compresses it all to one word. Wokeness means believing that politics is all there is to life. And nothing is whiter than that.

KAMALA WENT TO GUATEMALA FOR REGIME CHANGE, NOT ILLEGAL MIGRATION

KAMALA WENT TO GUATEMALA FOR REGIME CHANGE, NOT ILLEGAL MIGRATIONIn March, Joe Biden announced that Kamala Harris was going "to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle" to stem illegal "migration to our southern border". Why? According to Biden, "she’s the most qualified person to do it." This confused everyone including the White House, Kamala Harris, and even the media which spent the next few months clarifying exactly what her job was and how she was going to do it.

HOW DEMOCRATS CREATED A CARJACKING OUTBREAK

HOW DEMOCRATS CREATED A CARJACKING OUTBREAKCarjacking is booming like no form of crime in Biden's America. Homicides are up, especially in those cities that defunded their police, pharmacies are going out of business in San Francisco and other cities where shoplifting was legalized, but stealing cars is where it's really at now. Carjackings more than doubled in Chicago, and increased 537% in Minneapolis, the capital of police defunding, and around 500% in Washington D.C.

BOEHNER STANDS TO MAKE MILLIONS IN DRUG MONEY FROM BIDEN WIN

Nine years ago, the New York Times was accusing John Boehner of racism. Now it’s eager to lap up every drop of vomitous bile from the former Republican House Speaker. When Boehner asked Obama to move his speech by one day to avoid clashing with a Republican debate, NBC political analyst Richard Wolffe suggested that Boehner only did it because of "the color of his skin". Wolffe meant Obama's skin, not Boehner's, which always looks like spoiled meat served in some blackmarket back alley cafe in Havana. Since then Boehner has followed the usual career track of former RINOs from “worse than Hitler” to “sleazy lobbyist” to “author of unnecessary memoir bashing Trump”.

THE INCREDIBLE ADVENTURES OF HUNTER BIDEN

What do you do after serving on the board of a corrupt Ukrainian gas company and facing an FBI investigation over your dealings with Chinese Communist firms? You open an art studio. Last February, the New York Times published an extensive profile claiming that Hunter Biden had opened an art studio in his Hollywood home and was working on "decorative abstractions". Decorative abstractions would also be a good description of the media’s coverage of Hunter.

Democrats Outsource Political Repression To Corporate Monopolies

Democrats Outsource Political Repression To Corporate MonopoliesThe repression will be televised. It will go better with Coke, it will promise to clear up your bad breath and make your toilet shine. It will be in the cloud, it will be digitized and monetized. It will have a trademark, a brand, and it will be outsourced to the private sector. Democrats love public-private partnerships and they outsourced political repression to the private sector. The Constitution has inconvenient things to say about freedom of speech and so the Democrat government of elected and unelected officials outsourced the problem of censoring and suppressing speech to the handful of Big Tech monopolies of the internet.

DEMOCRATS DESTROYED ALL THE SAVINGS OF AMERICANS THREE TIMES OVER

DEMOCRATS DESTROYED ALL THE SAVINGS OF AMERICANS THREE TIMES OVERAmericans have $1.3 trillion in personal savings. A study published in The Economics of Disasters and Climate Change found that the coronavirus pandemic will result in between $3.2 trillion to $4.8 trillion in GDP losses. That approaches the economic output of Japan. Much of those losses were caused by the lockdowns which could result in a 60.6% fall in GDP. Governors, most of them Democrats, destroyed three times the household savings of the country, not just as an abstract number by piling on more debt and adding more infinite zeros to an impossible number, but by actively destroying small businesses on an unprecedented scale.

MANAGING PEOPLE IS A LOT EASIER THAN MANAGING A VIRUS

"We know people may have made mistakes over the Thanksgiving time period," Dr. Birx scolded the nation on CBS’ Face the Nation. "If you're young and you gathered, you need to be tested about five to 10 days later. But you need to assume that you're infected." Then Birx made her own “mistake”.

California Dems Shut Down State Over Lack of ICU Beds, After Adding Only 7% More ICU Beds In 8 Months

California Dems Shut Down State Over Lack of ICU Beds, After Adding Only 7% More ICU Beds In 8 MonthsGovernor Newsom's latest shutdown order closes down small businesses and warns residents to stay at home if their area's number of available beds in intensive care units drops below 15%. "By invoking a Stay at Home Order for regions where ICU capacity falls below 15 percent, we can flatten the curve as we've done before and reduce stress on our health care system," Governor Newsom, fresh from partying at the French Laundry, declared. Spring had given way to summer and then to autumn and winter, and California Democrats are still using the pretext of preserving "ICU capacity" and "flattening the curve". The rationale of shutting down an entire state, not so much for the sake of stopping the virus, but for keeping enough beds open in intensive care units, never made much sense even back then.

Obama: It's Impossible To Have A democracy If People Disagree With You

Obama: It's Impossible To Have A democracy If People Disagree With YouObama is busy shilling for his book, A Promised Land, for which the American imprint of a subsidiary of a German publishing giant with a Nazi past, is paying him a fortune. And that means sitting down with his favorite shill, The Atlantic’s editor Jeffrey Goldberg, whose book was published by the same giant, for some pseudo-intellectual preening at America’s expense. As usual, he has deep thoughts about why everyone who disagrees with him needs to shut up.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS IMPOSES CANCEL CULTURE ON 1.4 MILLION PEOPLE

The National Association of Realtors claims to have 1.4 million members. There will be fewer members before long as the association begins purging conservative real estate agents. At the center of the storm was an addition to Article 10 which covers various forms of discrimination. But unlike all the previous sections which addressed how real estate professionals interacted with customers, Article 10-5 is catchall cancel culture that controls what real estate agents say on social media on their own private accounts and in their free time.

Democrat Lockdowns Exempt Hollywood, Destroy Small Business

Democrat Lockdowns Exempt Hollywood, Destroy Small BusinessBefore Thanksgiving, Los Angeles imposed a curfew and, in a shocking oversight, asked Hollywood to follow it. While the entertainment industry isn't as big a part of the local economy as it would like you to think, its producers, directors, and stars provide a disproportionate share of the capital that the Democrats politicians who run the place use to get elected to higher office. After ordering Hollywood to restrict filming to the same curfew as other businesses, a few hours later the order was withdrawn followed by a final plea to film shoots to “to voluntarily limit and/or avoid activities likely to invite a negative community response" which could "jeopardize community confidence in our ability to operate safely."

DEMOCRATS RUN AMERICA’S RATHOLE CITIES

Last year, President Trump called Baltimore a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess". Speaker Pelosi responded by calling Trump’s comments “racist attacks”. Vox claimed that Trump was using “racist tropes” and US News conducted a fact check accusing him of racism.

A WOKE MUSEUM IN AN ILLITERATE CITY GOES FOR BROKE

Baltimore is overrun by murders, rats, and rampant illiteracy. Then its art museum went woke. Like a medieval monastery after the fall of Rome, the Baltimore Museum of Art is a relic of another time filled with the relics of another era. The Baltimorean merchants, bankers, and railroad tycoons who decided a century ago that their city needed an art museum to boost its civic pride are long gone and Charm City's favorite work of art is its mascot: a giant rat.

Be Thankful For The Left

Be Thankful For The LeftWhen we celebrate Thanksgiving, after being thankful for family and friends, for health and comfort, for food and shelter; we shouldn't forget to be thankful for the left. There is no light without darkness and without evil, the good often fails to find their own voice. It is in the presence of slavery that we remember the worth of freedom. Men and nations are forged in war; not only the war of shell and shot, but the war of ideas. War teaches us to fight for what we have. Wars of ideas teach us to stand up for what we believe.

How A Trump Prosecutor Took Down A Third Of The Cincinnati City Council

"As Donald Trump returns to Cincinnati today, I think it's important to say in my role as an elected leader for the city that he does not represent our values - not anywhere close. Indeed, he undermines them daily," Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld tweeted two years ago. Now, P.G. Sittenfeld, the leftist mayoral candidate, whose Senate bid had been funded by Obama and Biden backers, was arrested on corruption charges. In some places that might be a shameful distinction, but in Cincinnati it just means a third of the city council has been busted.
